Things to do whilst on holiday
For a great view of the whole city, take a trip up the second tallest tower in the world - The CN tower. With its great observation decks you can witness unspoilt views of the city and beyond. On a clear day you can even see the mighty Niagara Falls.
For some fun in the great outdoors then a visit to the Toronto Island Park is the perfect place. Take a short ferry ride from downtown Toronto and you will be led into a little island oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. On the islands you will experience fantastic views of the city, a choice of beaches, amusement parks and the ideal place for a picnic. If you are still feeling active then why not give kayaking a go? Toronto is a great city to visit all year round that benefits from all the seasons, so no matter when you go you’ll experience different aspects to the city. The summer months are from May to August with average temperatures between 25°C to 35°C. Winter months are not too cold or harsh in comparison to other parts of Canada with average temperatures at -2°C from December to March. Spring is in the air by mid March and by May the temperature becomes very comfortable.
