Try the national dish of ‘Cou-cou’ made from cornmeal and okra and served with fly fish. This dish is exquisite and truly captures the taste of the region. The Garden Restaurant will provide an array of great regional flavours as well as international dishes to suit all tastes. Local steel bands situate themselves in the Lobby Bar after dinner and help to cap off an all-round Barbadian experience.

The resort offers some great activities like water-skiing, snorkelling, Suba diving and massage treatments all at a surcharge. You’ll also be able to play a round of golf or two at the nearby course, with 9-hole and 18-hole rounds offered. So if you were thinking of bringing your clubs you’ll have a chance to use them.

Meal plans can be booked, and these offer the choice of room-only and all-inclusive packages. The all-inclusive package is quite comprehensive and represents great value for money. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner (buffet and table d’hote) and afternoon teas. You’ll be able to make a choice between differing Caribbean cocktails, local beers, soft drinks, house wines (which will be by the glass with dinner) and house spirits, as you enjoy the frequent entertainment by night. Taxes and all tips are also included.
