Things to do whilst on holiday
There really is such an abundance of things to do and places to see in Havana; it’s a city you’ll never be bored in.
A walk around the historical old town known as La Habana Vieja will enchant you, steeped in over 500 years of history you’ll encounter fortresses, cathedrals, museums of the revolution and the main touristic square of Plaza de Armas.
If it's beaches you’re after jump in one of the classic 1950s taxis aligning the streets and a 20-minute trip will take you to some of the finest beaches in the Caribbean. The turquoise waters and white crystal sands of the Playas Del Este will leave you amazed. So just relax and enjoy the sunshine!
The bars and nightlife in Cuba are second to none with so many to choose from with salsa beats, great cocktails and live music it really is hard to find a bad one. A trip to the famous La Floridita in the old town is a must and the perfect place to get your night started. The favourite haunt of Hemingway and the very place where the first daiquiri was served you can choose from an array of colourful cocktails or sample one of the aptly named Papa Hemingway Daiquiris.
