BEFORE YOU GO

Q. Why will Kenwood Travel save you money? 
A. Kenwood Travel work directly with airlines and accommodation partners who provide us with wholesale flight and hotel rates that are used exclusively for creating your luxury holiday. By combining these rates we are able to cut out the middle man and provide a competitive package price.
 
Q. Is my money safe with Kenwood Travel - Do I have financial protection - Can I book with confidence?
A. Did you know that booking flights and hotels separately often means your holiday is not financially protected? We are members of the Association of British Travel Agents, (ABTA) The International Airline Transport Association (IATA) and most importantly we have an Air Travel Organisers License (ATOL) which completely safeguards your money.

Q. How much deposit do I need to pay?
A. This would be a minimum of £100 unless otherwise stated at the time of booking

Q. When is the balance due?
A. 10 weeks prior to departure

Q. Do you make a credit card charge?
A. Not on deposit payments. For balances the charge for a credit card would be 2% and for American Express 2.5%. There is no charge for debit cards such as Switch.

Q. Can I pre-book attraction tickets for Florida?
A. Yes we are able to offer all of the main Disney and Universal passes which are detailed on our web site.

Q. Is personal travel insurance included in the cost?
A. No.This can be quoted separately by us or you may arrange your own. It is however essential that insurance is arranged.

Q. Can I book a holiday, which is not featured, on your web site?
A. Yes.We are also agents for all of the major tour operators and can tailor make an itinerary to all of our featured destinations.

Q. Can I book to depart from a provincial airport?
A. Yes. We have special add-on rates from provincial airports to Manchester, Gatwick and Heathrow.

Q. Will I know the address of my villa accommodation before I go on holiday?
A. We will offer you a villa in your chosen grade and will be able to advise the area in which it will be located. The exact address will be given approximately 2 weeks prior to departure.

Q. Do I need a visa?
A. This will depend on your chosen destination and the exact nature of your nationality. If you do not hold a full UK passport please advise your consultant at the time of booking.

AIRLINES

Q. Do you use Charter or scheduled flights?
A. About 95% of our programme utilises scheduled carriers such as Virgin Atlantic and British Airways. We only use charter to Mexico and on rare occasions to the Caribbean.

Q. Can I pre-book my aircraft seats?
A. Yes you can on all scheduled carriers, a service which is offered free of charge. You should however bear in mind that the seat numbers given are not guaranteed as the airlines reserve the right to make last minute changes to equipment

Q. What is my airline baggage allowance?
A. On scheduled services across the Atlantic the allowance is 1 piece weighing no more than 23 kgs. For all other areas and for charters the allowance is 20 kgs per person. It is very important to check your airline tickets when you receive them, as the baggage allowance for each airline will be stated on them.

Q. Are meals on the aircraft included?
A. Yes airline meals are included in the cost of the holiday.

Q. How much leg room will I have on the flight?
A. On scheduled flights thee is a generous 33" seat pitch. On charter there is a 28" pitch.

Q. Are the flights direct?
A. Nearly 90% of our programme is based on direct non-stop services. In the high seasons such as Easter and Christmas we do contract some non direct flight s but you will be advised at the time of booking.

CAR HIRE IN THE STATES

Q. Does my hire car include insurance and petrol?
A, We use Dollar Rent a Car who will be situated at your arrival airport. The cost of car hire includes all local and state taxes and CDW insurance and unlimited mileage. Provided that you return the car with a full tank there will be no charge for petrol.

Q. I am 20 years old and have just passed my test van I hire a car in the US?
A. Unfortunately not. The minimum age for car hire is 21 years. For clients 21 to 26 years there is an extra insurance payment of $25 a day. You also need to have had a full licence for 2 years.

Q. If I make an online payment are personal details and  credit or debt card details safe?
