The Sukhothai Accommodation

Superior Rooms - Luxury and style that is distinctly The Sukhothai - at an airy 38 square metres with queen-size beds and furnished with teakwood and the finest Thai silks, Superior Rooms recall the palatial salons of the ancient Thai capital of Sukhothai. An oversized bathtub, separate shower and toilet enclosures and luxurious toiletries complete your experience.

Deluxe Studios - Enjoy views of calming blue or green - Deluxe Studios are a large 45 square metres and offer pool views. Choose from king-sized or twin beds, complemented by classic Thai silk and teak furnishings in contemporary design. A full-service business desk is available, along with an Apple iPod connection hardwired to the in-room sound system, DVD player and an LCD TV.

Executive Deluxe Rooms - Views of calm green and the hustle and bustle of the city beyond.  At 76 square metres,  and with an open-plan bedroom-living room, this room gives you much more space than you would expect in a hotel room - but The Sukhothai is about exceeding expectations. With a spacious glass walled bathroom and a silk-covered chaise lounge in the centre of the bathroom, along with two sinks and a walk-in closet, even necessary facilities are a decadence at The Sukhothai.

Deluxe Suites - Deluxe suites are 76 square metres in size and as private or public as you want them to be. Open up the teak doors between the different rooms to create space, or section them off to create your own personal areas. Choose from views of the water garden or the city beyond to rest your eyes upon in between working at the writing desk or taking a restful nap. Lose yourself in one of two walk-in closets, or the teak-floored bathroom, with glass walls surrounding you at every turn. Two sinks, an oversized bathtub, and a luxurious chaise lounge help you relax and re-invigorate in the bathroom.

Garden Suites - Shades of blue and green dotted with pink beauty. Buddha's elixir for calm. Garden Suites look out onto the central courtyard and lily ponds, thanks to the spacious balcony floating above the calm of the water lilies. 76 square metres, with a silk-draped four poster king-sized bed, these Suites are a peaceful haven within our already serene surrounds. Additional luxuries include your own master bathroom as well as a guest restroom, making the Garden Suites ideal for entertaining. High ceilings and beautifully decorated to impress even the most critical of design aficionados, the Garden Suites are a landmark in themselves.

Deluxe Terrace Suites - Float away into the legend of Sukhothai with the light and airy feel of the Deluxe Terrace Suites. These suites are a large 66 square metres and have been designed with a contemporary yet rustic Thai charm. Bask in the warmth of the sun or the glittering lights of the Bangkok sky in the privacy of your own balcony overlooking the swimming pool, complete with sun lounger. Surrounded by the lush greenery of our gardens, the Deluxe Terrace Suites provide a feeling that you are in the midst of nature yet with all the modern comforts you could ever think of – LCD TVs, satellite channels and pay-movies, business-desk, and a walk-in closet.

Deluxe Residence Suites - Designed to embrace you with a unique feeling of home - the way you would want your own Thai home to be brought to life. An expansive 98 square metres, Deluxe Residence Suites, with their separate living, dining, bedroom, and walk-in closet areas, resemble more of a stylishly decorated residential apartment than a hotel room or suite - and that is just as we intended. Modern furnishings are resolutely Thai, yet offer the ultimate in comfort, first and foremost. Deluxe Residence Suites overlook the swimming pool.

The Beaufort Suite - Tropical beauty and sublime tropical sunlight fill the gracious living, sleeping and dining areas of the spacious 138 square metre Beaufort Suite. Serenity comes standard in addition to all the luxury you deserve in The Beaufort Suite. Sun-kissed, this ‘fusion’ contemporary Thai designed suite overlooks the swimming pool and houses a large sun terrace. The open plan living, bedroom and kitchen areas are sectioned off with glass sliding doors, providing an elegant fusion of space and light.

Since our opening, the Sukhothai Suite has served as a luxurious private haven for celebrities and dignitaries paying visit to Thailand’s capital city. True to The Sukhothai way, only the best of the best embellish the Sukhothai Suite.  Rich and vibrantly coloured Jim Thompson silks feature throughout, and the Suite comprises such luxuries of space as a lounge with a grand piano, private dining room, fully equipped kitchen, separate study, bedroom with separate dressing room and grand bathroom. Reflections abound everywhere you look.

Celadon - Named as the “Best Restaurant in Bangkok” by Travel and Leisure magazine, Celadon is a celebration of the senses - in true Thai style and service. One of the city’s most iconic Thai eateries, Celadon serves authentic Thai cuisine in beautifully crafted air-conditioned salas. Submerged in a picturesque lotus-pond with open-air terraces overlooking the water, guests are spoilt both by the choice of tastes they can discover and the tranquil atmosphere. The extensive a la carte menu offers a selection of the finest dishes from all over Thailand, prepared just as they were meant to be enjoyed throughout the ages.

La Scala - A class all its own - La Scala is a triumph of innovative interior design paired with classical Italian cuisine, perfectly concocted. Just as the design and decor unite the contemporary with a Thai cultural context, so the cuisine presents pure traditional recipes with unparalleled creative flair. Colonnade caters to all your whims with its dining menu that presents a staggering array of international cuisine and uncompromising quality. In an ambiance of casual elegance, epicures can enjoy live cooking, oyster shucking and sushi-making during the day. Menu options include international fare, comfort foods, Asian and Japanese selections as well as the freshest seafood and meats cooked to perfection. Enjoy a drink as you gaze through tall windows into the serene splendour of a bygone age, reflected in the lit water garden with its stupa replicas. Sunday Brunch at Colonnade is truly legendary - a gastronomic feast fit for kings, queens, princes, princesses, and true connoisseurs, featuring only the freshest and best in culinary delights.

Salon - A chocoholic’s dream - The Sukhothai’s famed Chocolate Buffet finds itself on the must-do lists of many of the city’s visitors and residents alike. The Salon is a relaxing venue for a coffee, light cocktails, snacks, and afternoon tea - and to simply unwind in the company of friends and loved ones. The Chocolate Buffet is offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2.00pm - 5.30pm. On weekends, The Salon becomes a Thai music centrepiece with a traditional Khim player playing the soothing sounds of this traditional Thai instrument every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2.00pm until 5.00pm.

Pool Terrace Cafe & Bar - If spending all day by the pool is your idea of the perfect holiday, then we are happy to indulge. You literally won’t have to do anything more - raise a glance and our staff will be at your side, bringing you just what you need to cool down with the convenience of our Pool Terrace Café & Bar. The Pool Terrace Café & Bar serves an exotic range of health drinks and light snacks and meals in a casual setting overlooking the pool.

The Zuk Bar - Shimmering fish seeming to float by above your head. Lotus ponds at your feet. Blending almost seamlessly with Colonnade, The Zuk Bar
is the ideal place for aperitifs or after-dinner drinks, light snacks, select product launches or a private cocktail party to toast the closing of a hard-earned deal. Or chill out to views of the courtyard garden and lotus ponds in the outdoor lounge, the perfect venue for intimate soirees in an ambience of sophisticated elegance. The bar takes on a club atmosphere in the late evening, with two high-energy resident DJs every night from 9 pm until 1 am, except Sundays and Mondays.
