The Imperial Boathouse offers a luxury island holiday with all the trimmings and a few unique touches that will make your stay unforgettable. The resort boasts 34 Boat Suites, cosy villas that have been carefully and elegantly adapted from rice barges once used to travel up and down the Chao Praya River. Painstakingly transported to Koh Samui, they now provide truly unique and luxurious accommodation for Boathouse guests.

The resort is located on the pure sands of Choeng Men Beach. It features two stunning swimming pools; one by the beach, the other surrounded by the vibrant colours of the flowers of the resort’s tropical garden.  You can choose a massage or other treatment at the Imperial Boathouse’s first rate Spa facility or have it at the Beach pavilion overlooking the gently rolling waves of the ocean.

Make the most of the beachfront location by taking part in one of the variety of water sports on offer, or strike inland to explore such wonders of the island as the Hin Lat and Na Muang waterfalls.

Boat Suites - A Boat Suite offers you a free standing, authentic 91 sqm rice barge, which was converted into luxury suites with separate living, dining areas and below-deck master suite bedroom, a sky-lit bathroom and a private sundeck. A unique experience.

Premier Rooms - A Premier Room offers you a spacious 52 sqm double or twin bedded room with separate shower & bath, including a 13 sqm balcony with garden view. The nicely decorated room is housed in the low-rise buildings, close to the beach and offers a variety of amenities, including free WiFi. Connecting rooms are available on request.

Poolside Terrace Rooms - A Poolside Terrace Room offers you a spacious 56 sqm double or twin bedded room with a shower & bath, including a 18 sqm covered terrace with outdoor shower and direct access to the garden by the pool. The nicely decorated room is housed in the low-rise buildings,close to the beach and offers a variety of amenities, including free WiFi.

Honeymoon Suites - A Honeymoon Suite is not only for honeymooners, but everyone looking for a bit of extra space and romance. It offers you a romantic, 56 sqm double bedded 1-bedroom suite with a luxury bathtub in the middle of the suite, with a separate shower and includes a private 12 sqm garden view terrace. The contemporarily decorated room is housed in a low-rise building, very close to the beach and offers a variety of amenities, including free WiFi.

Imperial Boathouse Restaurants & Bars

Boat Cafe Restaurant - Open daily 7.00 – 10.30 a.m. the Boat Café breakfast lounge offers you an extensive buffet with a large variety of both western and Asian breakfast choices. The lounge can seat up to 120 guests.

Captain's Choice - Open daily between 11.00 a.m. and  11.00 p.m (last order at 10.30 pm). The Captain’s Choice beachfront restaurant offers you a good selection of authentic Thai and western a-la-carte dishes, as well as several themed buffet night. A live band sets the right atmosphere with a repertoire of songs you could sing along to (note band is playing during the high season). It offers a daily Happy Hour (Buy one, get one FREE) between 6 and 7 p.m. and can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Manao Bar - Open daily between 2 – 11 p.m. (last order at 10.30 p.m.). The open-air Manao Bar is next to the lobby, offering you a great place to meet, unwind, watch your favorite sports and have fun! It offers a daily Happy Hour (Buy one, get one FREE) between 6 and 7 p.m. as well as 9.30 – 10.30 p.m. and can accommodate up to 30 guests.

Pool Bar - Open daily 11.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m. (last order at 10.30 p.m.). The Boat Pool Bar at Captain’s Choice overlooks the boat shaped swimming pool by the beach and offers a wide variety of cold drinks, fancy cocktails and snacks. It offers a daily Happy Hour (Buy one, get one FREE) between 6 and 7 p.m. and can accommodate up to 20 guests.
