Things to do whilst on holiday
A day – or more at the beach! With so many remote and uncrowded beaches you can find a secluded heaven on the island of Phu Quoc. The best beaches are located in the northern part of the island and can sometimes be difficult to find, but it's well worth the effort and you can reap the rewards by lounging in solitude on a beautiful sun-drenched beach.
For some treasures of the deep, visit the Pearl Farm Shop in Duong where you can see pearls being farmed and find out a bit about the history of pearl farming on the island. You could even spot a bargain and pick your own pearl from paradise.
For a thriving nighttime market, visit the fishing port of Duong Dong on the west coast of the island. It has a real buzz and atmosphere with dozens of stalls offering a sumptuous selection of Vietnamese cuisine, including freshly caught seafood that will make your mouth water.
The nightlife in Phu Quoc is relatively relaxed with a host of beachside bars, you’ll find some amazing spots to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun go down. If you are after a few late evening tipples then the Ahoy Club is your best bet and the closest thing to a nightclub on the beach.

With its tropical climate Phu Quoc’s temperature remains consistent throughout the year with temperatures on average reaching between 28 C and 31 C. The monsoon season runs from July to October however, there are often days with no rainfall at all during these months.
