Things to do whilst on holiday
On the Hāna Highway – a 68-mile stretch of road – you’ll open up amazing panoramic view along the coast and unlock hidden natural wonders like waterfalls and other attractions.
Set in over 30,000 acres, the Haleakalā National Park is a must see for visitors. Trek to the summit – the Haleakalā Crater – which is 2 miles wide and 2,600 ft deep! Whether you come to this serene spot in the morning or evening, you’ll get an equally stunning sunrise or sunset. If images of seemingly vast and arid volcanic rock reaching into the clouds doesn’t do it for you, check out the Kipahulu section where you can swim in one of the natural pools below cascading waters caressing the regions’ rock formations.
For a great night out pay a visit to Front Street in Lahaina, where you can get a bite to eat before partaking in some local entertainment. There’s a lively atmosphere on Front Street, and it will soon be evident that it’s the epicentre of Maui nightlife.
