Secluded at Makena Resort on a perfect crescent beach at the foot of Haleakala, Maui Prince Hotel is your retreat for rejuvenation. The entire Maui Prince Hotel is built around an Asian meditation garden with stone paths, quiet corners for contemplation, waterfalls and streams swimming with brilliant multi-colored carp. This creates a spectacular open-air atrium that leads to every room, while every window and private lanai looks out to the blue Pacific.

Maui Prince Hotel Activities

Part of the 1,800-acre Makena Resort, the 17-acre Maui Prince Hotel hugs a crescent of beach with calm ocean waters. Water-sports equipment rentals are available, and a 46-foot catamaran (surcharge) sails from the beach to Molokini Islet, where some of Maui’s best snorkeling can be found.
On-site facilities include an outdoor splash pool, children's pool, and spa tub. A fitness center provides free weights, strength-training equipment, and cardiovascular machines such as an elliptical trainer, stair machine, and treadmill.
The resort is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Golf facilities include a driving range, putting green, and pro shop.
Adjacent to the golf courses are six tennis courts (surcharge). Other activities include croquet, shuffleboard, table tennis, Hawaiian craft classes, volleyball, and fitness classes; fees may apply.
The Prince Keiki Club children’s program offers supervised half- and full-day activities for children ages 5–12.
