The 124 guestrooms at Cairns Resort by Outrigger all have balconies with views of the ocean, city, mountains, or pool area. They are located on the third through sixth storeys. Amenities in all guestrooms include air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as refrigerators, hairdryers, and irons and ironing boards. Internet access is dial up.

Mantra Esplanade offers two restaurants with bars, two coffee shops and a bar. Mantra Esplanade central Cairns location also allows guests an easy walk to restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment.

Activities

Cairns Resort by Outrigger has a recreational area with a 40-metre-long outdoor pool, plus a spa tub, sauna, and fitness equipment.
The Esplanade, where the resort is located, is great for walking and jogging. Opposite the resort is the Cairns Esplanade Swimming Lagoon, which has a saltwater pool with sandy beaches, and a dedicated children’s area. The lagoon is surrounded by a large tropical park. Cairns has a wide range of other recreational facilities including golf courses, tennis courts, and fitness centres. A golf course and tennis courts are within 15 km of the hotel. A bicycle rental outlet is three blocks away.
