4* Almond Beach Village
Description / Location
This 13-hectare (32-acre) resort on one kilometer (0.5 miles) of beachfront is large enough to be lively in some areas and tranquil in others, pleasing both children and adults. Adults also enjoy a restaurant reserved for them. A reminder of the resort's former life as a sugar plantation remains in the form of a stone tower. Amenity highlights: The Almond Beach Village Resort's beach has coral-reef sections for snorkeling. Freshwater swimming is available in six interconnecting freeform pools ranging from 12 meters (40 feet) to 46 meters (150 feet) long, including one for children, scattered among lodging buildings. Two spa tubs offer soaking fun. Supervised activities are provided for children ages 2-13, and a nursery looks after children 0-23 months from morning to late afternoon.
