A naturalist's haven, the island features three superb, white sand beaches. Jumby Bay, a secluded hideaway accessible only by boat, is known worldwide for providing discerning travelers with world-class service and distinguished amenities.

Accommodations

With 40 beautifully refurbished suites and 11 villas spread across nearly a third of the island, guests feel deliciously ensconced in their own secluded hideaway. Each suite is an oasis of luxurious idleness embodying the island's stylish good taste.

Restaurants and Bars

Estate House - Two-story 18th century building that once served as sugar-plantation "great house." Spanish-style garden-courtyard. Open-air linen-service dining under veranda roof and on starlit terrace. Multi-course dinners featuring international cuisines with Caribbean influences. Lavish dessert buffet. Dress code: long pants and collared shirts for men.
Estate House Bar - Upper-floor open-air lounge with wood bar, plumply cushioned inside seating and island-view balcony tables. Palm-tree wall murals. Cocktails, tropical drinks, Cuban cigars. Afternoon tea service.
Verandah - Open-air restaurant with beach/Caribbean view. Breakfast and lunch buffets and à la carte menu. West Indian and international dinner buffets twice weekly with live music.
Verandah Bar - Open-air seating on orange banquettes under bougainvillea arbor, beside rock-wall garden. Blue tile bar. Colorful potted cacti. Sunset and Caribbean views.
Beach Bar - Located at midpoint of main beach. Tropical drinks. Wide mirror above back bar reflecting tranquil turquoise bay.

Activities

Use of snorkeling gear, sailboats, windsurfers, and kayaking is included in the All-Inclusive Plan, as is water skiing. The resort includes three tennis courts (two lighted), a putting green, a croquet lawn, and miles of hiking trails. Bicycles are located throughout the resort's grounds so guests need not keep track of "their" bikes. The resort offers a complimentary weekly sunset sail and snorkeling trips. Fishing and scuba diving excursions can be arranged. (Fees charged by excursion operators.) Golf, horseback riding, and helicopter sightseeing are available on Antigua, which is a 2.5-mile run from Jumby Bay resort on the resort's ferryboat.
