Description / Location

The Verandah’s pristine setting incorporates a wild and exotic place where hidden white sandy beaches lead to crystal clear turquoise waters. Dramatic sunrises serve as early morning wake up calls and it’s a place that doesn’t seem to have quite caught up with the 21st century.
This 200-room luxury family style resort is situated on 30 spectacular waterfront acres, hidden away on the untouched northeast coast of Antigua.  It lies adjacent to a designated National Park and incorporates marked nature trails, a powder soft white sand beach and crystal clear bay perfect for swimming.  The historical Devils Bridge is only a brief walk away, whilst uninhabited nature sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island are only a boat ride away. The international airport and capital city are both just a 30 minute drive away

Accommodation

Bayview suites are single story, approx 700 sq.ft duplex villas that are styled after classic Caribbean architecture, with private furnished verandahs.  All have king size bed with pullout sofa bed in a living area with privacy curtain. They have a bathroom with tub, shower and his & hers sink; mini fridge, microwave, coffee/tea facilities and iron/ironing board complete the amenities. They have beautiful bay views and sleep 4 people including children and infants

Oceanfront Suites are 700 sq. ft. single story duplex villas with direct oceanfront views.  They have the same amenities as Bayview Suites and comfortably accommodate 4 people including infants and children.

Restaurants & Bars

Verandah Restaurant - Open-air restaurant offering buffet and à la carte options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Bistro - Enclosed, air-conditioned restaurant serving dinner. Reservations required.
Beach Bar and Grille - Beachside restaurant serving burgers, snacks, and tropical drinks.
Room service is also available.
There is also another restaurant called Nicole's, but there is a supplement of $25 USD per person to dine in this establishment.  This is collected locally.

Activities

Two freeform pools are on site, one which is designed specifically for children. Supervised childcare and activities are also available. The property offers a full-service health spa, fitness equipment, complimentary wireless Internet access, gift shop, hair salon and wedding services.
