Popular with vacationing families and long-term travelers, Best Western Bay View Suites offers condo-style accommodations close to Paradise Island attractions. Although the resort is not located on a beach, guests may enjoy Cabbage Beach, a three-mile stretch of white sand along the turquoise-and-blue Atlantic Ocean, a 10-minute walk away. The resort has three swimming pools with sundecks, lounge chairs, and umbrella tables. Guests dine at the resort's single restaurant or cook in their own kitchens, with groceries from the on site mini-market. Nearby Atlantis Resort offers a spa, 24-hour casino, nightclub, comedy club, children's activities, teen club, shopping arcade, and more than a dozen restaurants—all accessible to Best Western Bay View Suites guests. The resort's luxuriant gardens include tropical fruit trees and banana plants. Guests are permitted to harvest the fruits.

Accommodations

This resort offers 75 air-conditioned suites and villas in buildings set among tropical gardens. Villas are one-story white buildings and suites are in two-story shingled buildings (no elevators). All suites and villas have private balconies or patios with garden views and outdoor dining sets. Barbecue grills and VCRs are available (surcharges). Televisions offer U.S. cable channels.

Best Western Bay View Suites has one restaurant serving breakfast and lunch only.
Two shopping/dining centers within half a mile offer a variety of restaurant choices, as does Atlantis Resort within walking distance.
Hibiscus Terrace Restaurant & Pool Bar - Open-air spot under yellow canopy, adjacent to pool in resort's suites section. American breakfast and light lunches only, no dinner.

Activities

The resort has three swimming pools and an illuminated, hard-surface tennis court. Guests may call for tee times at the Ocean Club, an 18-hole PGA course one mile from the hotel.
The hotel staff can arrange deep-sea fishing, parasailing, waterskiing, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving excursions, along with boating trips (all paid for locally). Water sports rentals are also available at Cabbage Beach, half a mile away.
