Perched on a bluff overlooking the turquoise Atlantic Ocean in the Bahamas, Coral Sands Hotel is a divine luxury resort situated oceanfront in the heart of serene Harbour Island, just off of North Eleuthera. Accommodations

The rooms are designed in a Bristish colonial style that is luxurious and modern, but comfortable and homey.  Price is based on a Garden View Room, but there are 7 different types of accommodation to choose from, including a 2 bedroom Beach House.  Amenities include:  air conditioning, direct dial telephone, in-rooms safe, L'Occitane personal care products and hair dryer.

Restaurants & Bars

The Coral Sands Restaurant - The Coral Sands Restaurant has long been recognized as one of the finest in the Bahamas.  It just got a little finer, thanks to its newly revamped menus. The culinary prowess of our chefs will delight and satisfy even the most discerning palate.
Beach Bar & lounge - A great place to grab a mid-day snack or an inviting lunch between snorkeling, scuba diving or after a day shopping in Dunmore Town.

Activities

A 35-foot-long kidney-shaped pool provides freshwater swimming. Accessible by a flagstone path and stairway leading down from the hotel, a beach of pinkish sand lapped with light surf runs three miles along Harbour Island's eastern shore. The hotel provides lounge chairs and thatched shades on the beach.

Use of snorkeling gear, kayaks, and boogie boards is complimentary, as is use of a lighted tennis court. Independent operators offer horseback riding on the beach.

Adventure Awaits - Strolling the beach, lunching on the patio, wandering up to the beachfront bar or just lingering in your room with the door open to let the sea breeze in is like giving the cares of the world a quick kiss good-bye. From strolling through historic Dunmore Town, morning laps in the lagoon style pool or absolutely nothing at all, there's something for everyone at Coral Sands.
Diving - Local dive shops, Ocean Fox and Valentine's offer dive instruction and certification, a wide variety of dives and dive sites and night and two-tank night dives for the experienced. There is also a pretty good reef a couple hundred yards from the beach that both protects the beach from rough waters and provides pretty good snorkeling.
Bone-fishing - Bone-fishing - the art of testing your patience against the will and patience of a slippery bone-fish that you are more likely than not to release after spending hours catching - is also widely popular on the island and a favorite for Coral Sands connoisseurs.
