Description / Location

Set amidst twelve acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the calm west coast of Barbados, the family-owned and run Coral Reef Club is one of the finest resorts in the Caribbean. Two swimming pools offer an oasis from the day's heat and soaring trees fringe the white sandy beach where a wide range of complimentary watersports are available. Following a major redevelopment in which Luxury Cottages/Suites with their own private plunge pools were reconstructed, this 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World" member stands even more ready to receive guests with impeccable service, gourmet cuisine, beautiful accommodation and hospitable comforts which are unique in the world today.

Accommodation

Garden Rooms/Cottages:  Air-conditioned rooms and cottages each consisting of a king size or twin bedded room, private bathroom and patio or balcony. These rooms/cottages are garden view and can accommodate two adults. We also have four air-conditioned Single Garden Rooms which can only accommodate one adult. They are not as large as double rooms, containing a double bed, private bathroom and patio or balcony.
Luxury Cottages/Suites:  Air-conditioned Cottages on ground floor or Suites on first floor consisting of king or twin bedded room, dressing area and en-suite bathroom with separate shower and tub. Separate air-conditioned living room with sofa bed, wrap around balcony and private plunge pool. Can accommodate either three adults or two adults and two children. Located in the front half of the property leading towards the sea.
Superior or Luxury Junior Suites:  Air-conditioned junior suite style accommodation with large king size or twin bedded room, with sitting area within bedroom,luxurious bathroom and large patio or balcony. These Suites can accommodate two adults. Superior Junior Suites are located in the gardens. Luxury Junior Suites are located in the front half of the property leading towards the sea.

Restaurants

The restaurant overlooks the calm Caribbean Sea in an open terrace of elegant and refined decor. The "A La Carte" dinner menus change daily offering choices of fresh seafood and dishes containing classical French cuisine with exotic herbs and spices of the Caribbean. The tastefully designed bar and lounge is just one of the many places for you to relax and enjoy cool tropical drinks including the world famous Banks Beer or Barbados Rum.

Activities

Two freshwater swimming pools are available for your enjoyment. Coral Reef Club has its own watersports operation and the following are complimentary: windsurfing, snorkelling, waterskiing, kayaking, hobiecat and sunfish sailing.
Lush gardens lead down to a large bay, where the swimming is excellent. Scuba diving and deep sea fishing are also available at an additional charge. Golf is available nearby. There are 2 tennis courts (omni synthetic grass court/hardcourt surface) at the Coral Reef Club and two at their associate hotel, The Sandpiper. The gym has equipment that includes a  rowing machine, multi gym, treadmills, weights and cross trainers.
