Description / Location

Mango Bay is ideal for those seeking the convenience of an all-inclusive beach vacation combined with the personal and friendly service of a small resort. It enjoys a sought-after beachfront setting in St. James on the famous west coast of Barbados.

Accommodation

Mango Bay offers 76 beautifully appointed guest rooms. Designed in warm, muted tones with contemporary accents, all accommodations are furnished with king-size beds (twin beds on request) and boast furnished balconies or patios.  In-room amenities include:  air-conditioning, bathrobes, beach/pool towels, CD clock radio, colour cable television, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities and wireless internet access (charge applies).  Please note that standard rooms are located near restaurants & bars and are more susceptible to noise. Upgrade your room for more space and sea views.

Smoking is not allowed in any guestroom and should be restricted to open areas only.

Restaurants & Bars

Located along the beachfront, Mango Bay’s restaurant offers the choice of either open-air or air-conditioned dining. Meals are a mixture of buffet and table d’hote options and feature a fusion of Caribbean and International cuisine.
Open from 10:00am until midnight, the bar serves a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Activities

There is a small beach available in front of the hotel where you can enjoy swimming and snorkelling. There is also a free-form freshwater swimming pool. For those wanting a bit of pampering, there is an Elements Spa where you can purchase many different treatments.

Your All-Inclusive package includes: full breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner; all drinks, including house wine with meals; weekly Mango Bay cocktail party; live bands at night; watersports that inlcude waterskiing, Hobie Cat sailing, paddle boat, snorkelling, kayaking; free scuba lesson in swimming pool; cruise on catamaran to snorkel with the turtles; daytime tennis:  reservations required (tennis equipment not supplied); one return trip to Bridgetown per guest per stay; aquacise & pool volleyball; glass bottom boat ride; walking tour; taxes and gratuities.

Please note that on rare occasions, after excessive rainfall, the Holetown Lagoon, adjacent to the hotel, overflows into the sea. When this happens and the beach is closed for more than 48 hours, weather permitting, arrangements will be made to transfer guests to an alternate beach that has not been affected.

Resort Dress Code:
Daytime: Resort Casual – Cover-ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is required in the restaurant at all times. 
Evening: Elegantly Casual - Full length trousers and shirts with sleeves (either short sleeves or long sleeves) are required for gentlemen for dinner.
After 6:00pm, no jeans/denim wear, three-quarter length trousers, shorts or cargo trousers, trainers/sneakers, flip-flops, caps, t-shirts allowed in the restaurant (applies to ladies and gents).
**Exception is the Friday night BBQ: Smart shorts (no cargos) and ¾ length trousers are allowed.**
