This small hotel attracts young adult couples and singles desiring access to action along the half-mile St. Lawrence Gap dining/nightlife strip, as well as proximity to the beach across the street. One of the Gap's attractions, a colorful, open-air, West Indian-style shopping village, is just 100 yards away. The hotel's moderate pricing also draws business travelers. A 400-yard beach of nearly white coral sand across the street attracts locals as well as visitors. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent, as is water sports gear. Within the hotel's garden courtyard is a 45-by-20-foot pool with a surrounding sundeck.

Accommodations

The hotel offers 76 air-conditioned guestrooms in two cream-colored wings of three stories without elevators. Cream and white rooms include tile floors, rattan furniture including desks, and pastel fabrics.

Á la carte dinner menu featuring fish pie, tamarind shrimp, pork chops, steak, stir-fry. Children's menu.

Activities

On Dover Beach across the street from the hotel, vendors rent out kayaks, small sailboats, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, Jet Skis, windsurfers, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. The beach also includes a volleyball net. Barbados Golf Club, three miles away, offers an 18-hole championship course.
