Barceló Solymar is located on the best stretch of Varadero beach, the main tourist area in Cuba. The perfect resort for families and couples, as well as for diving lovers and water sport lovers in general. With the complete "Barceló All Inclusive" package, characteristic of the Barceló Hotels & Resorts in the Caribbean. The recently reopened Solymar was the first Barceló hotel to open in Cuba, introducing the the innovative concept of "Beach Resort" which has been successfully adopted by other Barceló properties in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Accommodations

All 525 rooms (including 328 standard rooms, 4 suites, and 120 bungalows and 73 bungalows suite) have a balcony or terrace overlooking the sea the swimming-pool or to to the garden, air-conditioning, a fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer, minibar, fridge, satellite TV, telephone, radio, coffee maker and safe. Plus, the 4 suites have a private Jacuzzi.

Dining services are available at 2 buffet restaurants, 3 á la carte restaurants (Creole and International cuisine, and another specializing in seafood), 3 bars, 2 snack bars and the lobby bar Solymar opened 24 hours.

Activities

Additional facilities include 2 adult swimming pools and one for children, a children's playground, gymnasium, sauna and massage services, Jacuzzi, beauty salon, day care center, boutique, post office, and tourist office. There are facilities for water-sports such as windsurfing, kayaking, and catamaran, diving classes, and facilities for other activities such as volleyball, and beach tennis. Guests also have access to the nearby 18-hole Varadero golf course. The perfect spot to have a good time with the whole family. We have something for every member of your family! Kids will have a ball at our Mini Club, and teens will love the wide range of sports activities and nearby entertainment centers.
