Description / Location

Truly one of the Caribbean’s most unique resorts, Coyaba is located right on Grand Anse Beach – considered by many to be the world’s finest. Following an EC$30 million renovation completed in February 2006, the resort's design theme showcases Arawak Indian life throughout the pavilion-style areas and guestrooms. It incorporates native artifacts and elements in such areas as murals and detailing in the floors. 

Coyaba is the Arawak name for “heaven” – and travelers the world over have found their own heaven on earth at Coyaba ever since.

Accommodations

There are 80 guestrooms spanning two floors, all are accessible via exterior corridors (no elevators). Modern, Caribbean-style accommodations at the Coyaba Beach Resort have one king or two double beds, a balcony with beach or pool views, and 366 square feet of living space. Amenities include cable/satellite TV, in-room safes, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Turndown service is provided nightly.

Restaurants & Bars

Arawakabana - A fine-dining restaurant offering International cuisine and island seafood specialties.
The Terrace - A casual al fresco poolside venue with an à la carte bistro menu.
Cacique Bar and Lounge - Situated beachside.
A Swim-up Pool Bar and the quiet Lobby Bar are also on site.
Room service - Available during limited hours, from early morning through late evening.

Activities

Complimentary tennis; non-motorized watersports including snorkeling, Hobie Cat sailing, canoeing; a large outdoor swimming pool featuring swim-up bar, lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas; full gym, croquet, table tennis, shuffleboard and a complimentary round of golf at the nearby Grenada Golf and Country Club (Transportation not provided).

Spa services, including eastern massage, are also available on site.
