Raffles Resort at Canouan Island is a state of the art island retreat nestled within 800 acres of tropical flora and fauna and with a stunning backdrop of rolling green hills and calm turquoise waters that reach the horizon. The one and two storey villas provide the resort with 156 luxury rooms and suites each with its own terrace and private patio, most of which have breathtaking ocean views. Each room or suite is very spacious and features custom made furniture, Frette linins, netted four-poster beds and a selection of RafflesAmrita Spa goodies.

Accommodations

The rooms and suites at Raffles Resort Canouan Island are situated in an amphitheatre around the beach. Rooms or suites are either within the first four levels of the amphitheatre and are described as being in the ‘Orchestra’ levels, or are on the top level of the amphitheatre and are described as being on the ‘Mezzanine’ of the resort.
Each of the 156 guestrooms and suites feature: air-conditioning - ceiling fans - an array of pampering RafflesAmrita bath amenities - bathrobes and beach slippers - fully stocked refreshment bars (non-alcoholic drinks only) – a tropical fruit basket - fresh flowers - in-room safe – hairdryer - satellite television - multi-lingual voicemail - CD players - wireless connection, - working desks and separate outside entrances – Balcony or Patio – Use of your own Golf Buggy for transport around the resort.

Orchestra Room –Garden View – Spacious rooms set in one-storey villas within the first four levels of the resort, with a minimum of 560 square feet of living space. Interiors are decorated with custom light wood furnishings, Frette linens on a netted four-poster bed and terracotta-tiled floors. The en suite bathroom features separate showers, soaking tubs, double vanities and hand painted porcelain and tiles. French doors open from the bedroom onto covered terraces with comfortable lounge chairs overlooking the tropical gardens. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons.

Mezzanine Room - Ocean View – Rooms as above but located on the top level of the resort with views across the bay. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons.
Orchestra Room – Ocean View - Room is again the same as the Garden View Orchestra Room but is positioned to offer spectacular views of the sea. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons.

Orchestra Junior Suite – Ocean View –Suites have features as per Orchestra rooms but are more spacious with a living area. Suites also benefit from a walk-in closet and a more spacious verandah with lovely ocean views. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons.

Mezzanine Suite – Ocean View – These beautiful suites offer one master bedroom with a king or two twin beds, a separate living area, two full bathrooms, walk-in closets, a large parlour, a wet bar, a Lavazza Espresso coffee machine and a very spacious walk out patio with panoramic views. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years. By connecting suites and rooms, Mezzanine Suites are also available as 2 storey suites with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (maximum occupancy 6 adults or 4 adults and 3 children under 12 years), or as 3 bedroom Villas with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (maximum occupancy 9 adults or 6 adults and 4 children under 12 years). The second and third bedrooms have separate entrances.

Orchestra Suite – Ocean View – With the same features as a Mezzanine Suite but also with the added bonus of a flat screen TV in the living area. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years. By connecting suites and rooms, Orchestra Suites are also available as 2 bedroom single storey suites with 2 bathrooms (maximum occupancy 6 adults or 4 adults and 3 children under 12 years).

Personality Suites –The epitome of luxury living, these suites are situated in prime locations within the Orchestra Levels for optimum views of the bay and the ocean. These suites can either have one or two bedrooms, all have a separate living area and features are similar to the one or two bedroom Orchestra Suites. Personality Suites have very spacious verandahs with private plunge pools. Maximum occupancy for a one bedroom suite is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years and for a two bedroom suite is maximum occupancy 6 adults or 4 adults and 3 children under 12 years.

La Piazza is a stylish Italian concept restaurant that pampers its guests with its sleek and contemporary design and trendy services. Godahls Beach Bar & Grill is beachside at Godahl beach and is a hot spot for guests during the day with its beautiful views of the ocean and unspoiled coral reefs of Canouan Island.
