Grand Pineapple Beach (formerly Negril Gardens) recalls the early days of Negril's emergence as a holiday destination, when small, moderately priced hotels in Jamaica offered couples, singles, and small families casual sunbathing, swimming, and relaxation opportunities without the distraction of organized group activities.
Furnished with lounge chairs, shaded by seagrape trees, and featuring a hammock, the resort's 69-meter (75-yard) beach frontage provides access to shallow, sandy-bottomed water that remains calm in most weather conditions. Kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, and an introductory scuba-diving lesson in the pool are part of the All Inclusive Plan. Secluded at the rear of the resort's garden section is a 15-by-7.5-meter (50-by-25-foot) pool surrounded by a sundeck.

Accommodations

Grand Pineapple Beach Negril offers 65 air-conditioned guestrooms in 14 vibrantly colored one- and two-story buildings featuring elaborate fretwork. Some of the buildings are located on the beach side of the road running parallel to Negril's Seven Mile Beach, and others are located on the opposite side of the road in a tropical-garden section near the resort's pool and tennis court. Crossing guards stop traffic for guests around the clock.

Orchid Terrace - Open-air, sea-view restaurant and terrace seating under awning. Breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets daily.
Sunset Bar - Beachside bar under peaked, multicolored wood roof. Tropical drinks, five slot machines, sunset view.

Activities

Grand Pineapple Beach Negril's frontage on Seven Mile Beach spans 68.5 meters (75 yards) and provides access to shallow, sandy-bottomed water that remains calm in most weather conditions.
Kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, and an introductory scuba-diving lesson in the pool are part of the All Inclusive Plan, as is use of a lighted tennis court. Scuba diving and snorkeling excursions are available, as are scuba diving certification courses (surcharges).
Secluded at the rear of this Jamaican resort's garden section across the street from the beach is a 15-by-7.5-meter (50-by-25-foot) pool surrounded by a sundeck that includes a multi-colored cabana.
