Accommodations

This Jamaica resort offers 427 spacious guestrooms and suites in a five-story building facing the Caribbean Sea. All provide balconies or terraces with sea or garden views. Bedding includes Frette luxury linens, down pillows and comforters, extra-thick mattresses, and featherbeds. (Non-allergenic bedding available on request.) Gray-and-white marble bathrooms have glass-door stall showers, separate tubs, twin-sink vanities, phones, and plush bathrobes. Other amenities include three telephones (one cordless), 27-inch TVs, and radio/CD players. (DVD players and VCRs available for rent.) Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are available for surcharges. Bath-butler service (surcharge) is available on request. Smoking is permitted only on balconies/terraces.

The White Witch Restaurant - Located at golf course on green mountainside. (Complimentary shuttle.) Breezy dining room under high, pitched, bleached-wood ceiling. Terrace seating with panoramic sea views. Salads, sandwiches, pastas for lunch. Open afternoons for cocktails. À la carte dinner. Live entertainment nightly.
Mango's - Open-air beachfront/pool restaurant and bar under peaked bleached-wood ceiling. Sandwiches, salads, burgers for lunch. Theme-night dinner buffets during periods of high occupancy.
Reggae Jerk Center - Thatched beach "shack" serving spicy barbecued ("jerked") fish, pork, chicken, and sides, including bammy (fried cassava patties). Beach seating under thatched shades. Open mid-day to early evening.
Cohoba's Lounge - Two "great rooms" off lobby with high ceilings, mint-green walls, Brazilian-cherrywood accents. Afternoon appetizers, desserts, cigars, coffee, brandies, cocktails, rum tastings. Open late morning to late night. Live entertainment nightly.

Activities

A freeform pool measuring approximately 46 x 46m (150 x 150 ft) and a 10-person spa tub shaded by palm trees are in the resort's central courtyard.
A serpentine fieldstone walkway dotted with lounge chairs leads to a 500-m (547-yd) beach on the Caribbean Sea. The beach is furnished with twin sunning beds under fold-up shades.
All guests enjoy complimentary use of windsurfers, kayaks, sailboats, and snorkeling gear, in addition to a complimentary scuba-diving lesson in the pool. Complimentary shuttles transport guests 8 km (5 mi) to the Rose Hall Beach Club, an independently owned facility offering parasailing, water skiing, banana-boating, and other water sports (surcharges). Scuba-diving and snorkeling trips, and scuba-diving instruction/certification are also available at the beach club for surcharges.
Located on a hillside 4 km (2.5 mi) away, the resort's 18-hole championship White Witch Golf Course features rolling hills and panoramic sea views. Guests receive preferred tee times and complimentary shuttle service to the course. A practice facility includes two tees, two bunkers, and a 1,022-square-meter (11,000-squae-foot) putting green. Pros are available.
Complimentary recreation facilities include two lighted tennis courts, a bocce court, a beach-volleyball court, and a mini-soccer area for children. Yoga classes (surcharge) are available in the fitness center.
