Sandals Halcyon Beach, on the luscious Caribbean island of St. Lucia, is the quintessential beach resort. Overlooking a serene bay with its pristine silver-white sand beach and emerald waters, and snugly nestled in amongst stunning tropical gardens. Accommodations
The Sandals Halcyon Resort offers 170 guestrooms in one- and two-story pastel buildings (no elevators) with wood-shingle roofs draped with thick mats of flowering plants spaced among trim lawns, palm trees, and tropical gardens. Large patios and balconies with fieldstone walls include two-chair dining sets. Windows between patios and balconies open, combining with ceiling fans to provide a cooling alternative to room air conditioning. In-room amenities include: 4 poster king-size bed, air conditioning, amenity kit, hair dryer, telephone, in-room safe, CD/clock radio, satellite TV and iron & ironing board.

The Pier Restaurant – Savour gourmet Caribbean Cuisine at the Caribbean’s most impressive restaurant, which is located on its own 150 ft pier.
Mario's Restaurant – Experience the best of Northern Italian dishes and wines.
Bayside Restaurant – International gourmet cuisine indoors by candlelight or outdoors overlooking the moonlit Caribbean Sea.
The Beach Bistro – Serves grilled favourites such as burgers, jerk chicken, patties and more.
There are also 7 bars with various themes, including a piano bar & beach bar.
You will also have access to all the restaurants at the other two St Lucian Sandals resorts - Sandals Regency & Sandals Grande St Lucian - with a free shuttle service that runs between resorts.
Activities
There are many daily activities organised for those who wish to partake, such as beach games, aerobics classes & pool volleyball. Every evening there is live entertainment, which include theme nights such as Lovers Night, Pirates Night, and even a guest talent show.
Snorkelling gear, kayaks, Sunfish and Hobie Cat sailboats, Surf Bikes, and windsurfers are all available daily. Scuba diving trips to nearby reefs are also included. Available for extra charges are scuba diving excursions to Martinique about 90 minutes away by Sandals' dive boat. Sandals/Beaches resorts offer a scuba diving resort certification course for guests (payable locally). Guests who successfully complete the course will receive scuba-diving certification good for up to one year at any of the Sandals/Beaches resorts.
Land-based sports include tennis on two lighted artificial grass courts, basketball, volleyball, lawn chess, and shuffleboard. Sandals Halcyon Beach guests are entitled to use the 9-hole golf course at Sandals Regency St. Lucia Golf Resort & Spa four miles away, with complimentary shuttle between the two resorts. Play is complimentary, but fees are charged for caddies and shoe rental (both mandatory). For additional fees, carts and clubs can be rented.
