Rooms are located in 16 comfortable Plantation-style cottages and Lanai suites scattered throughout the property on either side of the Avenue of the Palms – a stretch of lawn from the 18th-century Great House down a two-minute walk to the beach. This resort offers 38 guestrooms without televisions or radios in 16 yellow, low-rise cottages widely spaced amid acres of lawns, palm trees, and flowering gardens. Rooms include patios or balconies with garden or partial ocean views. White-wood ceilings, white walls, and white-tile floors complement pastel bedspreads and West Indian print fabrics. Heavy rattan furniture completes the tropical decor. Rooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans and louvered mahogany windows. Electric tea kettles and coffee makers are provided.

Great House Restaurant - Second floor of former sugar plantation's rebuilt stone-wall 1778 great house. Two dining rooms with white-wood ceilings, fans. Outdoor seating on screened veranda with ocean view. Open for dinner only. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men. Afternoon English tea on ground-floor terrace at weathered-wood tables.
Sea Breeze Restaurant - Casual, colorful, open-air beachside wood building with seating under wood-shingle shelters. Open for lunch only.
Coconuts - Open-air, weathered-wood restaurant next to pool featuring colorful gingerbread trim, bamboo chimes, Atlantic Ocean view. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The resort has an illuminated tennis court and a croquet lawn. Use of snorkeling gear is complimentary. A 60-by-20-foot rectangular pool with shallow children's section is bordered by a sundeck, located by the beach. The property has a fitness centre with the latest Cybex equipment and The Palms Spa has an array of treatments available.
