Guests are welcomed into an expansive open-air lobby with thickly cushioned, oversized couches. A narrow beach with an offshore reef and light-colored sand fronts the resort. The casual, comfortable ambience of this 85-acre resort attracts families and couples seeking a relaxed vacation with all-inclusive convenience. A water park offers a long lazy river for tubing and two serpentine water slides. The resort has freeform three pools. One features a swimup bar. Another is for activities such as volleyball and is paired with a 14-person spa tub. A third (small) pool is in an adults-only area adjacent to a coconut grove with hammocks. A beach 1 km (0.75 mi) south of the resort has become a windsurfing center, with windsurfer rentals during busy seasons.
Accommodations
This resort offers 254 guestrooms in two pastel four-story buildings with elevators. Furnished balconies or ground-floor patios provide full or partial views of the Atlantic Ocean. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioning. Televisions offer U.S./international cable channels. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. Decor and furnishings include pastel walls, terracotta-colored tile floors, cushioned rattan seating, and light-colored furniture. Bright art and blue-and-orange mirror frames contribute color. Blue-and-white-tile bathrooms contain stall showers (no tubs).

Activities
The resort's oceanfront water park has a 229-m (750-ft) lazy river for tubing and two serpentine water slides, one open and the other a closed tube. A 30-m (98-ft) freeform pool contains garden islands, cascades, a swimup bar, and alcoves with banquettes and cocktail tables. A freeform activities pool with volleyball net is paired with a 14-person spa tub and a sundeck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Isolated at one end of the resort is an adults-only area with an 11-m (35-ft) freeform pool, a sundeck, and a lawn with lounge chairs and hammocks under coconut palms. The pools, lazy river, and spa tub (but not water slides) are open around the clock. A picket-fence compound for children ages 3–12 includes a water-play area with water cannons, fountains, and overhead tip-over buckets; a playground; a covered outdoor activities area; and an air-conditioned clubhouse with video games. Supervision is available from 10 AM to 5 PM, during dinner five nights weekly, and after dinner until 10 PM (hours subject to change). The resort faces a narrow band of beach with light-colored sand and views of the Maria Islands (a wildlife reserve just offshore) and Moule à Chique (the headland at St. Lucia's southern tip). An offshore reef and rock breakwaters keep water calm in most weather. The resort supplies snorkeling gear. Windsurfer rentals are available during busy seasons on a beach 1 km (0.75 mi) south. Other watersports, including scuba diving, are available on beaches near Soufrière, 44 km (27.5 mi) north of the resort on the west (Caribbean) coast. Land sports include beach volleyball and cricket. The four tennis courts and two basketball courts are lighted. Daily activities include yoga, Tai-Bo, pool aerobics, and dance classes. ATVs, biking, and kayaking are available along the southeast coast of the island. Kayaking is also allowed within the nature reserve wetlands of Savannes Bay (surcharges). A rainforest canopy tour offers a bird's-eye view of treetops and across rivers (surcharges).
