Rendezvous is the first holiday in St. Lucia dedicated to the idea that great couples deserve a special place in the sun they can call their own. On this storybook island, Rendezvous is the storybook escape exclusively for the man and woman who happily choose to share their lives. We provide everything you need to create an idyllic time in an idyllic place. Without the distraction of children or singles or the noisy hubbub of your every-day life putting pressure on the relationship, you find every opportunity to nourish your unique bond. We even liberate you from concern for money because just about everything is included. Rendezvous is, above all, an Eden -- a tropical garden by the sea where you can rediscover what made you a great couple in the first place. St. Lucia has many beaches dotting its coastline, but only Rendezvous offers you two miles of white sand in which to sink your toes. This is as pleasing for a morning jog as it is for a hand-in-hand twilight stroll, perhaps sharing a bottle of champagne. It is also a beach meant for lounging and lazing as you allow the constant murmur of the surf to take your minds away from the hubbub you left at home. Park yourselves under a palm tree to share (as Shakespeare said) 'green thoughts in a green shade.' Cast your eyes on the distant mountains of Martinique just peeking hazily above the horizon. Perhaps escape the brilliance of the sun by taking a few steps up to the Terrace Bar for something cold and delicious. It's easy to get into conversation if you feel like it. With only the company of other couples, Rendezvous has a special, guileless atmosphere that allows you to open up. You not only share this beautiful beach; you also share the exalted status of being a couple!
Accommodations
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information). All 100 rooms and suites at this resort are air-conditioned and furnished in Caribbean style, with bright colors and natural rattan or hardwood furniture. Private balconies and terraces face the sea and feature hammocks or steamer chairs. Guestrooms have four-poster beds, sometimes accompanied by soft mosquito netting. Most rooms are equipped with marble accents in the bathrooms, adjustable lighting, CD players, and ceiling fans.
Restaurants & Bars
The majority of meals and beverages, plus all gratuities, at the following restaurants, snack spots, and bars are included in the room rate for this resort (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information). Meals can be prepared for those on vegetarian, vegan, low-salt, and low-cholesterol diets. Please notify restaurant manager upon arrival with requests.
Terrace Restaurant - Beachfront, open-air restaurant; serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets that include typical local cuisine. The lunch and dinner buffet themes change daily. Dress code requires shoes and cover-ups over swimwear during the day and casual dress at night.
Trysting Place - Air-conditioned fine dining; dinner is à la carte, with silver place settings, crystal, fine linen, and wine list. Open six nights a week; reservations required. Men are requested to wear long trousers and shirts with collars.
Guests also may dine at a partner resort, BodyHoliday at LeSport, 18 km (11 mi) away, which features dining in an open-air restaurant by the sea, with an à la carte menu and wines included (a supplementary list is also available for a surcharge). Another option is Tao, which features Pacific Rim-style cuisine. Reservations are required.
Activities
The majority of on-site recreational activities and facilities described below are included in the room rate for this resort (scroll up to the All-Inclusive details section for more information). The hotel offers a complimentary guided bicycle tour, a weekly golf clinic with an on-site golf pro on the putting green, and archery lessons and tournaments. Introductory scuba-diving courses are included. Marine Park Dives and certification courses are not included but are available for a surcharge. Scuba diving is not available on arrival and departure days or on Sundays. The 18-hole St. Lucia Golf Course and Country Club is 16 km (10 mi) from the resort. Golf is not included, but for a surcharge of US$95, guests can use the golf course (fee is subject to change and includes green fees, cart rental, and transportation to and from the course).
