Description / Location

The hotel is located on a thousand feet of Clearwater Beach and has an outdoor swimming pool as well as a separate children’s wading pool. Also on site are a spa tub, fitness center, and a putting green. Cabanas and personal watercraft can be rented at the water sports kiosk. A complimentary, manager’s reception, with hors d’oeuvres and beverages, is held every Wednesday evening. The 95-acre Sand Key Park, less than one mile south of the resort, has beach and park areas with picnic shelters, grills, playground, dog park, and restroom. The beach area has cabana rentals, beach wheelchairs, outdoor showers, nine boardwalks to the beach, and bathhouses. Heron, roseate spoonbills, great horned owls, and other creatures visit regularly. A lifeguard is on duty during the day.

Accommodations

This hotel has 216 guestrooms in two wings, a 10-story tower where all rooms have balconies, and a two-story lanai wing with exterior hallways and easy access to the beach. Rooms have views of either the boulevard or the Gulf of Mexico. All guestrooms have blond-wood furnishings, brass light fixtures, 27-inch TVs, Florida tropical artwork, mini refrigerators, and Nintendo game consoles. Microwave ovens are available (surcharge).

Restaurants & Bars

Our Sand Dollar Cafe offers casual dining for breakfast and dinner daily. Full American Buffet Breakfast available each morning. The Porpoise on the Pass Tiki Bar provides lunch, light meals and snacks. Enjoy the beverage of your choice while listening to our live entertainment.

Activities

Perky’s Playhouse has daily supervised children’s activities (surcharge) for children ages 4-12, which includes crafts and games. Its “Kid’s Night Out” program offers miniature golf, a movie, and dinner on Saturday evenings. This family-friendly resort sits on the beach, with a swimming pool that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel has multiple weddings every weekend, many conducted on the beach. Guests can use the outdoor splash pool, children’s wading pool, and spa tub. Daily supervised programs are offered for children ages 4-12. VCRs, videos, books, board games, and beach/pool toys are available through the children’s center at no charge. A fitness center has a shower, towels, large mirror, and TV. A complimentary manager’s reception with hors d’oeuvres is held every Wednesday evening. Beach and pool cabanas can be rented.
