Description / Location
Located at the north end of Key West, this Holiday Inn is right on the beach and features a freeform pool with a shorelike entrance and a waterfall. A private, 300-foot-long tanning beach overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and an on-site water-sports facility rents Jet Skis, boats, and equipment for snorkeling and diving trips. Fishing trips and sunset cruises can also be arranged. The hotel consists of several two-story buildings, with no elevators, and one three-story building, which does have an elevator. There is plenty of meeting space and parking is free. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, a gift shop, and a poolside bar. Old Town is three and a half miles away, at the southern tip of the island.

The resort has 222 guestrooms in several two- and three-story buildings; there is an elevator in the single three-story building, but not in the four two-story buildings. Hemingway Cafe - The hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast dishes such as cinnamon French toast and Skillet Inspirations: ham, sausage, or chicken grilled with veggies and topped with two eggs, with freshly baked biscuits on the side. Regional specialties are offered for lunch and dinner.
Angler’s Paradise Lounge - This poolside bar offers drinks and snacks in a breezy, open-air atmosphere.

The hotel is located directly on the beach, and the freeform pool has a shorelike entrance, a waterfall, and a spa tub. There is also a private, 300-foot tanning beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel’s on-site water-sports facility rents Jet Skis, boats, and equipment for snorkel and diving trips. Sunset cruises and fishing excursions can be arranged as well. Key West is not known for its beaches but it does have a few, and Smathers Beach (one of the most popular) is one and a half miles from the hotel, close to the airport. Other recreational activities in Key West include fishing (especially deep-sea fishing), snorkeling, scuba diving, and other water sports.
