Description / Location

Between the beach and Route A1A, this beachfront resort has a casual atmosphere that draws families and vacationing travelers. The hotel has a five-story main building (with front desk, main restaurant, and cocktail lounge), a five-story beachfront building, and a two-story building. A small lobby in the main building has tropical-style decor and a seating area that looks out on Route A1A. A large pool and sundeck are set between the hotel’s main building and the ocean beach. There is also a children's wading pool, and a poolside bar and grill. The complimentary fitness center is equipped with cardio-vascular exercise equipment. Scuba diving lessons can be arranged, as well.

Accommodations
 
Guestrooms are located in the main building, across a small street from the beach. They offer step-out or full balconies; many have partial ocean views. Decor incorporates bold prints and pastel colors. Amenities include refrigerators, microwaves, in-room safes, and cable TV. Complimentary wireless Internet access is also included.

Restaurants & Bars

Damon’s Grill - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In hotel lobby. American cuisine includes barbecued ribs, grilled steak, and seafood. Adjacent lounge offers several large-screen TVs, and smaller TVs with individual controls at each booth.
Damon’s Beachside Tiki Bar and Grill - Open from midday through late evening. Open-air bar and grill located between pool and beach.

Activities

The Clarion Resort Lauderdale Beach offers direct beach access from one of its three buildings. Additionally, there are two heated pools, including one lap pool with an adjacent wading pool overlooking the beach. Guests can inquire at the hotel’s tour desk about diving outings and personal watercraft rental. Gold’s Gym is three miles away. American Golf Club golf course is six miles away, and the Jacaranda Golf Club golf course is 10 miles away.
