Two rows of 24-foot palm trees span the length of the lobby and tower above a reflecting pool with splashing waterfalls framed by two oversized, geometric art pieces. Business travelers and leisure guests relax on the outdoor sundeck overlooking the ocean. The Westin hotel has a 24-hour fitness center, the Westin Kids’ Club with supervised children’s activities, an infinity pool with waterfalls, a freeform lagoon pool, two spa tubs, and waterfront shops and dining. Guests enjoy free shuttle services and privileges at a companion resort, the Diplomat Country Club & Spa, which is located one mile away and offers golf, tennis, spa, hair, and beauty treatments (surcharge). Wireless and high-speed Internet access is available.

There are 998 guestrooms in this 39-story oceanfront Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa. All guestrooms include the Heavenly Bed, which consists of a custom-designed, pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding, triple-sheeting, down blanket, comforter and duvet, and five goosedown/feather pillows. The Heavenly Bath includes dual showerhead with multiple spray options, curved shower rod for extra room, velour bathrobes, oversized, Brazilian combed-cotton, bath sheets, and spa bath products. Other amenities include bathrobes, minibars, coffeemakers with coffee, and high-speed Internet access. Refrigerators are available upon request (surcharge).  Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.

Restaurants & Bars

Hollywood Prime - Fine-dining restaurant serving fine-aged beef and 400 wine listings. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner only.
Satine - A South Beach attitude infuses this restaurant, which specializes in an Asian-influenced cuisine, including sushi. Extensive wine collection. Bar. Dinner only.
The Cafe - Italian dishes are the specialties including pasta favorites such as spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Nikki Lounge - Cocktails and fresh sushi are served in this casual lounge.
Splash Poolside Grille and Bar - Beach fare including burgers, hot dogs, and chicken strips are offered poolside. Healthy menu is also available. Open mid-morning until early evening.
Common Grounds - Freshly baked pastries and gourmet coffee served from early morning until late evening. Take-out available.
Nikki Marina - Located in Diplomat Landing, this waterfront restaurant specializes in seafood, and fresh sushi. Indoor and outdoor dining. Open from mid–morning until 2 AM. Bar.

Activities

A spectacular oceanfront outdoor bridged pool with infinity edge offers a see-through bottom and waterfalls flowing into a 240-foot freeform lagoon pool immediately beneath it. Pool toys and poolside cabanas are available (surcharge). The Westin Kids Club provides supervised activities (surcharge). A 24-hour fitness center is located in the Convention Center and includes bikes, treadmills, stair steppers, elliptical trainers, and free weights. Pilates classes, yoga, body sculpting, and stretching classes are also offered (surcharge). The Westin hotel is connected via skywalk to the Diplomat Landing. This waterfront marina sits on the Intracoastal Waterway and offers shops, and restaurants. Adventure World provides water-sports equipment rentals including personal watercraft, and kayaks (surcharge). The hotel provides shuttle service every half-hour to its companion resort, the Diplomat Country Club Resort & Spa (one mile), which has an 18-hole championship golf course, putting green, driving range, and offers golf instruction (surcharge). The Tennis Center has 10 clay tennis courts and a Pro Shop with private lessons for children and adults (surcharge). The 30,000-square foot European-style spa offers body treatments, massage therapy, beauty services, lounge, and private outdoor splash pool (surcharge). A fitness center includes exercise equipment, steam room, and sauna. The hotel does not have its own sand beach; shuttle service is available to the Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk (0.5 mile).
