Located on 27 acres of lush Florida landscape, this 10-story resort is located across the street from SeaWorld and adjacent to Discovery Cove. A sea- creature motif including dolphin statues and a whale mural accent an expansive lobby with a soaring 10-story atrium. Arriving business travelers and leisure guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne. The lobby offers a charming, 50-foot-tall Venetian aviary, as well as several restaurants, lounges, and a coffee station. The fitness center offers exercycles, treadmills, and free weights, as well as a sauna, steam room, and massages. An n outdoor recreation area includes a splash pool, two spa tubs, children’s playground, and tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts.
Accommodations
The resort has 778 guestrooms surrounding an interior, 10-story atrium. All rooms include cable TVs with premium channels, minibars, desks, multiline phones, mirrored closet doors, video-game consoles (surcharge), and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have dual sinks, phones, hair dryers, and shower/tub combinations.
Restaurants & Bars
Atlantis - Seafood menu, including shrimp, lobster, tuna steak, and grouper. Dinner only.
Tradewinds - Soft pinks and teals evoke the ocean at this casual restaurant in the lobby’s atrium. Buffet dining or à la carte. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Deli - Casual, deli-style dining in the center of the atrium lobby. Sandwiches, coffee, and donuts. Open early morning till late evening.
Sunday Brunch - On Sundays, the atrium lobby is devoted to the resort’s brunch featuring 100 menu selections. Reservations recommended.
Dolphin’s Lounge - This inviting piano lounge is located in the atrium lobby. Specialty drinks, wine, and cocktails. Open late afternoon until late evening.
Winston’s Lounge - Located next to Atlantis restaurant, this bar opens late in the afternoon. Wine, martinis, and cocktail specialties.
Palms Pool Bar & Grill - Adjacent to pool. Drinks and light fare.
