Rising majestically 14 stories and overlooking lakes, exquisitely manicured lawns, and an 18-hole golf course, the hotel welcomes a clientele of primarily leisure guests. Exercise machines and yoga classes are available in the fitness center. The resort also includes an outdoor splash pool, spa tub, children’s pool, jogging path, and tennis courts. Casual and fine-dining options are available on-site. Guests also enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides on Fridays and Saturdays. Shingle Creek, headwaters to the Florida Everglades, borders the trees that surround the resort’s golf course. Wildlife can be seen at the creek.

The 584 guestrooms in this 14-story hotel include furnished, step-out balconies with lake, garden, or pool views. Rooms include Ritz Carlton signature feather beds, wood furnishings, desks, CD players, flat-screen cable TVs, multi-line phones, video-game consoles, and minibars. Bathrooms offer separate marble baths, glass-enclosed showers, dual sinks, designer toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. High-speed Internet access is offered. Housekeeping is provided twice daily in addition to evening turndown service.

Norman’s - Tantalize your tastebuds at Norman’s, the AAA Four Diamond award-winning restaurant featuring celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken's acclaimed "New World Cuisine" as the culinary centerpiece. Fusion of Latin, Caribbean and Asian recipes with traditional European technique.  Large windows and outdoor terrace feature breathtaking views of the lake, golf course and gardens.
The Vineyard Grill - Indoor and outdoor dining is offered at this restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is buffet or à la carte. Lunch includes entrée salads, sandwiches, chicken, and fish. Seafood is the dinner specialty, with offerings such as red snapper and glazed salmon.
Fairways Pub - Offering a panoramic view of the 18th fairway, this restaurant/bar located at the golf clubhouse serves steaks, sandwiches, salads, and seafood. Open mid-morning till dusk. Lunch only.
The Lobby Lounge - Great views of the outdoor pool. Open late morning till midnight. Cocktails, light appetizers, and afternoon tea, including Peter Rabbit tea for youngsters.
Bleu - Poolside restaurant and bar serving lunch daily. Open late morning until dusk (weather permitting).
Vitale - Located in the Ritz Spa, Vitale offers healthy choices for lunch, including smoothies, salads, and power drinks.

Activities

This resort offers an 18-hole, par-72, Greg Norman-designed golf course. An outdoor splash pool, spa tub, children’s pool, jogging path, and three lighted tennis courts are also on-site. A fitness center is located in the day spa and includes machines, free weights, and classes. Supervised childcare activities such as pool parties and volleyball games are available for a fee.
Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the large lazy river splash pool located at the neighboring J.W. Marriott. Accessible via walkways, the popular pool winds under waterfalls and through caves.
