Located along Hotel Plaza Boulevard in the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, the 18-story Best Western offers a central location for guests visiting the theme parks. Colorful Murano lamps light the circular lobby, which include a Disney store and a gift shop. Located near Downtown Disney, the hotel provides complimentary scheduled shuttle service to Disney theme parks. Trader’s Island Grill serves breakfast buffets and dinner nightly, the Parakeet Café offers Pizza Hut pizza and other casual fare, and the Flamingo Cove lounge serves tropical drinks and sandwiches poolside.

Accommodations

The 18-story Best Western offers 325 guestrooms, all with furnished balconies, pillowtop mattresses, and high-speed Internet access. Other amenities include laptop-compatible safes, coffeemakers, and 27-inch TVs with premium channels.  Compact refrigerators and microwaves are available on request. Bedding for sofa beds is available for $5 per room per stay (fee subject to change).

Restaurants & Bars

Trader’s Island Grill - A tropical restaurant with ceiling fans, pastel colors, and island music. Buffet breakfast includes “make your own” Mickey Mouse waffles. Open for breakfast and dinner.
Parakeet Café - This casual restaurant serves sandwiches, snacks, fresh fruit, coffee, and Pizza Hut pizza. Computers with high-speed Internet access are available. Open from early morning until late morning and late afternoon until late evening.
Flamingo Cove - This lounge offers indoor and outdoor seating and poolside service. Cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks, and light fare such as sandwiches and salads. Open from late morning until late evening.

Activities

Overlooking a wooded preserve, the hotel's sundeck houses a splash pool and children’s pool. Guests also enjoy a playground, video arcade (surcharge), and fitness room with stationary bikes, a stair machine, treadmill, strength-training equipment, and free weights. One half-mile away, the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course offers an 18-hole course and driving range. Three miles away, fishing excursions, watercraft, and bicycle rentals are available along Disney’s Boardwalk.
