Description / Location

Towering palms, lushly landscaped grounds, water fountains, and ponds dot the landscape of this resort community, which is favored by guests in town to visit theme parks. Island music fills the air, fish swim in tanks, a blue-and-gold macaw greets new arrivals, and floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the outdoor volcano pool in the two-story lobby. The many facilities at the main clubhouse include a game room, fitness center, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis courts, spa tubs, and large pool with three-story volcano, spout, and slides. Spa tubs, splash pools--including one shaped like a turtle--and children’s pools, are located at the villas. Other amenities include a 9-hole miniature golf course (surcharge), children’s playground, picnic tables, and video library. 

Accommodations

The 740 one- and two-bedroom villas are located in four- and five-story buildings, with exterior corridors. All villas have screened, furnished balconies or patios and include full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, coffeemakers, dishwashers, cookware, and dishes. Other amenities include ceiling fans, voice mail, and VCRs. Hair dryers are available on request with a $25 refundable deposit (subject to change). Housekeeping can be requested.

Restaurants & Bars

A convenience store is located at the main Clubhouse, and limited poolside service is available. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Near by restaurants: Joe’s Crab Shop, Macaroni Grill,
Olive Garden.

Activities

Located at the main clubhouse is the resort’s signature erupting volcano with three slides and a spout that shoots water 20 feet into the air. The resort has multiple children’s pools, spa tubs, outdoor freeform pools, and a large and a small pool. Activities include sand volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis, and a 9-hole miniature golf course. A large game room off the pool includes pool tables, arcade games, and air hockey. The fitness center overlooks the pool and has stair machines, bikes, treadmills, and free weights. A video library is available.
