Description / Location

This Art Deco boutique hotel on Ocean Drive is a central location for guests in town to enjoy sand and sea, South Beach nightlife, outdoor cafés, and shops. Evenings, when the hotel’s restaurant is open, the lobby transforms into a sea of color and light. Complimentary amenities include a breakfast buffet of eggs, yogurt, bagels, meats, coffee, and juice; wireless Internet access; and three computer terminals with wireless Internet access in the lobby. The Avalon's restaurant, A Fish Named Avalon (dinner only), serves seafood and other specialties indoors and out; the Avalon Bar serves cocktails and specialty drinks nightly. The Avalon’s 107 guestrooms, located in two four-story buildings, offer contemporary Art Deco styling. Cable TV, in-room safes, desks, and bath amenities by Essential Oil Products are also provided. A Fish Called Avalon - The hotel’s lobby restaurant is popular with seafood lovers. Dinner only.
Avalon Bar - The lobby bar serves specialty drinks, cocktails, and wine from early evening until early morning.

Activities

The boardwalk, beach and ocean are directly in front of the Avalon on the other side of Ocean Drive. The boardwalk is great for rollerblades, biking and local strolls. On the beach, you can relax on a chaise lounge and ease into the perfect tan. When it's time to cool off, let the waters of the Atlantic Ocean wrap you in its' refreshing embrace.
Want a pool? Take a short walk north on the beach to our sister property, the South Seas Hotel. There, the pool is yours.

One block from the hotel. Guests get a discounted rate at a fitness center six blocks away. The Miami Beach Golf Club, a public l8-hole course, is within three miles of the hotel.
