Description / Location

Opened in late 2004, the oceanfront hotel consists of two 10-story buildings at the residential end of South Beach. The modern lobby has marble floors, a copper registration desk, and eclectic artwork. Located four blocks from the Art Deco District and two miles from the convention center, the hotel is popular with families and business and leisure travelers. A beach club provides chairs, beach beds, umbrellas, towels, and pool toys (included in the daily resort fee). Guests also have access to an outdoor splash pool, two spa tubs, and a fitness center with sauna and steam room. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a surcharge.

Accommodations

There are 109 studio rooms and suites located in two 10-story buildings. Guestrooms offer custom-made European furnishings and kitchens or kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerators, minibars, coffeemakers, cookware, and dinnerware. Other amenities include CD/DVD players, laptop-compatible safes, complimentary premium channels, and high-speed wireless Internet access (surcharge). Marble bathrooms have bathrobes, phones, and Caroli toiletries.

This hotel serves a daily Continental breakfast (surcharge). The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Nearby restaurants: Prime 112, Grillfish, Joe’s Stone Crab.

The fitness center has a sauna, steam room, strength-training equipment, and flat-screen TVs. Guests also enjoy an outdoor splash pool and two spa tubs. The hotel is located directly on the beach, and a daily resort fee covers beach amenities including towels, chairs, cushions, pool toys, umbrellas, and beach beds. Child-size lounge chairs with umbrellas are available. Jet skis, wave runners, and parasails are available for rental. Two miles from the hotel, the Miami Beach Golf Club has an 18-hole course designed by Arthur Hills, a driving range, and a pro shop.
