The Dupont Plaza Hotel is a tourist-class hotel located in the heart Downtown Miami, within a multiplicity of shopping districts and office complexes. This hotel is across the street from the Convention Center and only blocks from the Miami Arena and American Airlines Arena. The "Miami Circle", an ancient Indian Site, and "Brickell Key", an exclusive residence "island", can both be seen from the outdoor pool deck overlooking the Miami River. The friendly Miami attitude can be felt from the hotel's professional and cordial staff. Built in 1958 as the most prestigious hotel of its time in Downtown Miami, The Dupont Plaza is today a beautifully well-kept, moderate type property, which still provides their guests with personalized attention.
