The large lobby is dotted with tropical palms and a small footbridge leading to a restaurant and bar that comes alive in the evenings with candlelit tables and a lighted water fountain. Public areas of the hotel are non-smoking. The hotel draws a large number of international guests, as well as business and leisure travelers, groups, and conventioneers.

Accommodations
 
The seven-story Hotel Riande Continental South Beach has 249 rooms. Amenities include in-room safes, blackout drapes, basic cable TV, high-speed Internet access (surcharge), and desks with chairs. 
  
Restaurants & Bars 
 
A complimentary Continental breakfast for two is provided each morning.
La Mola - The restaurant has a view of the ocean and pool area and serves complimentary Continental breakfast. Lunch is served in the restaurant and on the patio; dinner is served in the candlelit dining area in the front lobby.
Ocean Terrace Bar - This outdoor bar overlooks the pool area and has a view of the ocean.

Activities 
 
The hotel has direct access to the beach and a large outdoor pool with a cascading water feature and sundeck. Discount passes are offered to a fitness center 1 mile from the hotel. The concierge can arrange for discounted tennis and golf course fees as well.
