Description / Location

This hotel is formal and upscale, with easy access to the ocean and South Beach attractions. The hotel rooms, converted from apartments, are unusually large for Miami Beach--even the smallest tops 600 square feet. All rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves. The clientele is a mix of U.S. and international travelers, with 80 percent vacationers and 20 percent business travelers.

Accommodations 
 
The Roney Palace Resort has 586 spacious guestrooms converted from apartments—the smallest rooms top 600 square feet. All feature walk-in closets and kitchenettes with microwaves and mini-refrigerators (surcharge). The rooms are decorated in shades of white and tan, with blonde wood beds, hand-made contemporary French furnishings, and granite-topped desks and counters. 
  
Restaurants & Bars 
 
Electric Blue - Contemporary restaurant with indigo-blue neon lighting, steel-wrapped wooden support pillars, and oak-plank flooring. Serving sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, and light Asian cuisine, including salads and appetizers, as well as cold and hot sake, Asian and plum wines, and Asian beers. Open afternoons until late night. Closed Mondays.
Breezes Café - The hotel's signature restaurant, Breezes Café features American cuisine. Decor is colorful and South Beach–inspired, with yellow walls, turquoise carpeting, and ceiling fans. Serving three meals a day, including a breakfast buffet.
Atlantis Bar & Grill - Located poolside, Atlantis serves lunch and light fare as well as cocktails. Open afternoons and evenings.
Roney Pub - This cozy pub serves drinks and light fare, and is adjacent to Breezes. Open late afternoon until late at night.

Activities 
 
The infinity-edge pool is bordered by a large sundeck and overlooks the hotel's private stretch of beach. On the beach, rental equipment for a variety of water sports is available, including kayaks, windsurfers, skim boards, surf fishing gear, surfboards, masks, fins, snorkels, rafts, children's safety floats, and boogie boards.
