Description/Location

Henry Hobauser built the South Beach Hotel in 1939, and it’s been carefully restored to preserve and recreate it’s original features to such extent that the City of Miami Beach honoured it with a Beautification Award.  Located in the heart of the Art Deco Historic District, it allows guests to walk to The Bass Museum, the Miami Beach Convention Centre, the sandy beaches of the American Riviera, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, The Jackie Gleason Theatre and all of the area’s major attractions.   

Accommodations

The beautiful rooms are spacious and decorated simply with earth tones and contemporary minimalist decor and include the following amenities:  air conditioning, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, direct dial telephone with voicemail and cable TV.

Restaurants & Bars

Café Azuka, located in the lobby, offers a variety of soft drinks and bottled water as well as daily complimentary coffee & cookies. Enjoy these items inside, or sit by the fountain in the courtyard and take advantage of the tranquil and relaxing ambiance. 
There are many full service restaurants in the surrounding area, as well as an abundance of bars and clubs.

Activities

Located in the heart of the Art Deco District, most area activities are only a short walk away.  The hotel does not have a pool, but is located only one block away from the beach.  Collins Park is also adjacent.
