Description / Location

Opened in 1983 and located 4 blocks from the heart of bustling Coconut Grove and 6 miles from downtown Miami, this hotel attracts both business travelers and vacationers. The hotel is busier on weekends than during the week, when it fills up with vacationers eager to enjoy Coconut Grove's nightlife and shopping. As in many of Miami's hotels, guests are an international mix. The hotel has a courtyard pool, a fitness center, a sauna, a busy restaurant, and a bar that has a nightly happy hour. Extensive terraces overlooking Biscayne Bay are often used for corporate events. The hotel also has several choices of meeting and convention rooms. The hotel is located a half-mile from CocoWalk, an indoor-outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment center in the heart of Coconut Grove. Built around an open courtyard full of vendors' carts, it has outdoor cafés, a multiplex, street entertainers, stores, and restaurants, and is lively well into the night.

This hotel has 177 guestrooms with step-out balconies offering views of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove, or downtown Miami. Rooms are carpeted and have separate sitting areas with loveseats and sliding-glass doors that open onto the balconies. Guestrooms also have desks with ergonomic chairs and fax machines. Amenities include high-speed Internet access (fee), CD players, designer toiletries, and complimentary newspapers. 

Restaurants & Bars

BICE Restaurant - Serves three meals a day and offers guests a choice of indoor or terrace seating. The cuisine is Northern Italian. A private dining/wine room off the restaurant is a good choice for working meals. The Sunday brunch is well-known in the community.
BICE Bar - Hosts a nightly happy hour with live jazz on Fridays and live Latin music on Saturdays.

Activities

Wyndham Grand Bay–Coconut Grove has a pool and spa on its terrace, a small fitness center, saunas, a beauty salon, a Starbucks counter, and 9,000 square feet of meeting space. Guests can request in-room massages.
