Description / Location

The central courtyard of this 13-story resort is an oasis of natural rockery, fountains, and lush tropical botanicals. A large marble lobby greets vacationing families and retreat groups with Florida-style wicker seating areas dressed in cotton twill upholstery in colors of lime and forest greens, and a bright Bird of Paradise plant. A verdigris ornamental iron chandelier hangs above. Guests can relax around the lap pool with its roomy deck, lounge chairs, and blue-and-white striped umbrellas. Big palm trees and colorful flowers add Florida ambience. Down the boardwalk from the hotel is 3.5 miles of white-sand beach with cabanas, lounge chairs, and sun umbrellas. Water-activity rentals include Wave Runners, parasailing, Hobie Cat sailboats, and kayaks. Resort staff can help guests plan adventures such as scuba diving, water skiing, and fishing. Fees apply.

This resort has 233 guestrooms.All include screened, furnished balconies and bright, cheery old-Florida-style decor in palettes of yellow, white, Caribbean blue, lime, and sea green. Light pine armoires house 25-inch TVs with HBO and other premier channels. Both high-speed and television Internet access are available (surcharge). Rooms have reading chairs and ottomans in Dreamsicle fabric, plenty of storage, and whimsical accent furniture and artwork. Tiled bathrooms have ASiRA bath products and small windows that open.
