4* Hilton Longboat Key Beach Resort
Description / Location
The Hilton's beachfront location attracts vacationing sun-worshippers of all kinds, from sunbathers to windsurfers. From the circular driveway and covered porch, guests enter an unassuming lobby decorated in warm hues and wood tones. Wicker chairs and couches create a small sitting area, and the vines of potted plants trail from the walls. This Florida hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, beach volleyball, and an abundance of water sports and activities. An on-site restaurant has gulf views and serves American cuisine; a terrace lounge has outdoor dining and nightly entertainment. A walking/jogging/biking path located across the drive from the resort follows Gulf of Mexico Drive for the length of Longboat Key.
Accommodations
The resort has 102 rooms, each opening via sliding glass door onto a private patio or balcony with two chairs, or chaise lounge and a table. All rooms at the Hilton Longboat have desks and chairs, and two multi-line phones. Dial-up Internet access is available for a fee. King-bed rooms have two night tables and a full sofa bed and coffee table. Double-bed rooms have one night table and a comfortable armchair and occasional table.
