Description / Location

Located on St. Pete Beach, this five-story, pink-and-white hotel is a half-mile from the historic Don CeSar Beach Resort and 9.5 miles from downtown St. Petersburg. The small lobby includes a market stocked with snacks, drinks, and sundries. Families and leisure travelers are drawn to the hotel's beachfront location. Recreation options include beachfront water sports and an outdoor splash pool and spa tub. Guests also have access to the facilities at the partner hotel Don CeSar Beach Resort, including additional pools, a health club, children's activities (surcharge), and a health spa (surcharge). Complimentary 24-hour shuttle service is provided to the resort upon request. The 250-acre Boyd Hill Nature Park, 6.5 miles from the hotel, offers nature trails and boardwalks, four aquariums, and an observation beehive. On guided nature walks, guests may glimpse alligators, turtles, otters, wood storks, ospreys, and bald eagles. A park admission fee is charged.

Accommodations

The five-story hotel offers 70 one-bedroom suites, all with nautical decor and private, furnished balconies with gulf views. Kitchens include microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, coffeemakers, dishwashers, cookware, and dinnerware. Other amenities include washers and dryers, CD players, two TVs with complimentary premium channels, and two phones. VCRs are available upon request.

Restaurants & Bars

Sand Dollar - This poolside bar serves soft drinks, cocktails, and light fare, including salads and sandwiches. Open from late morning until sunset. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area: Nearby restaurants: Maritana Grille, Gigi's, Woody's Waterfront, The Hurricane.

Activities

The hotel is connected to the beach via a boardwalk, and beachfront cabanas are available for rent. Water-sports rentals include aqua bikes, Hobie Cats, and jet skis. An outdoor splash pool and spa tub overlook the beach. The hotel provides complimentary shuttles upon request to the partner hotel Don CeSar Beach Resort, where guests have access to a health club with personal training and exercise classes (surcharge); a health spa providing massage therapy and body treatments (surcharge); two outdoor pools; and saunas, steam rooms, and spa tubs. Supervised children's activities are also available at the resort (surcharge).
