If you are looking for a contemporary resort with a metropolitan atmosphere, Bandos will be ideal for you. The island, which is only a 15-minute speedboat ride away from the Male' International Airport is among the most well-established and biggest resorts in the country. The well known island of Bandos, with its convenient location in the southern section of North Male' Atoll, situated only one hours by boat from Male', is one of the largest resort islands on the Maldives. It has excellent beaches and its sister island Kuda Bandos is easily accessible by boat.
Accommodation
There are 225 guest-rooms; 103 of these are standard rooms, 48 are Deluxe Rooms and 24 Garden Villas, 48 Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 2 Water Villas. Rooms are kept clean and well supplied throughout your stay and provides you with laundry facilities including dry cleaning. A light and airy dining room, attractive coffee shop, a la carte restaurant and an open-air bar with separate dance area are included.
Gallery Restaurant - The main restaurant of Bandos Island Resort is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers its guests a variety of local and international cuisines.
Sand Bar - Located right at the water's edge, Sand Bar is the resort's main bar and is open from 0730hrs until the last satisfied customer leaves. Enjoy the exotice atmosphere barefoot on the sand floor sipping a tropical drink from our wide selection. Live bands invite all guests to listen or dance the night away.
Sea Breeze Cafe - True to its name, Sea Breeze Cafe has been newly built right at the edge of the water with an open air over water deck and an amazing view of the sea. It is open 24 hours and offers a variety of foods from snacks to a la carte dining options.
Sundowners Bar - Located on the east side of the island, close to the Dive School, Sundowners Bar is open daily between 0730hrs and 1930hrs. It is a favourite among divers for a quick snack and a cool drink after a dive. Watch the sunset setting across the horizon while sipping your favourite cocktail with someone special on the large over water deck at the Sundowners Bar.
The Harbour - Dine with style in this newly built and elegantly designed fine dining restaurant. The Harbour specialises in presenting its guests with the best of Maldivian fish, a large variety of seafood, home-made pasta and a selection of tender steaks char grilled to your taste, open for dinner only.
