Beautifully situated by glorious white sands, this lively resort offers the ultimate island holiday, in brand new, romantic water villas. Guests can relax beside the tropical waterfront bar, take advantage of rejuvenating spa treatments and enjoy breathtaking sunsets while night fishing.
On Dhonveli Island, which has a small horseshoe beach on one side, guests can take day trips* to the nearby island of Kuda Bandos, which include snorkelling, sunbathing and a barbecue. The Maldives' capital island, Male, is approximately 13km away and boat hire* and guided visits* to Male operate locally.

Accommodations

Dhonveli Beach & Spa has 72 elegantly furnished Guestrooms, including 04 Vista Suites, 10 Sunrise Villa, 12 Sunrise Cottages, 22 Garden Villa & 24 Sunset Villas. We have open air exotic garden bathrooms, mezzanine beds, interconnected rooms and open air water falls. All rooms have fresh hot/cold water, air conditioning, hairdryers, Satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, verandas, sun beds, tea & coffee makers.

Restaurants & Bars

The Hotel has one Main Restaurant {Garden Restaurant}and One Main Bar {Sunset Bar}annexed with a Coffee Shop. There is a second small Bar {Co-Bar at the Pasta Point }situated at the most southern end of the Island facing the ocean where Guests can enjoy huge waves breaking on the shore. .
A second Coffee Shop and an Asian special restaurant are situated in the Northern end, which is now under construction-completion -2006.
The Main Restaurant {Garden Restaurant}serves International cuisines and arranges weekly theme nights on the beach and in the Restaurant.
The Coffee Shop annexed with main Bar {Sunset Bar}facing the ocean serves variety of western and eastern dishes. Special dinner menus such as fresh lobster, seafood and other eastern and western dishes are available.
The Main Bar {Sunset Bar}is stocked with branded spirits, beer, cocktails, and soft drinks.

Activities

Dhonveli beach resort is also famous for it offers several theme nights, peppy disco parties, beach barbecues, and DJ nights that make you forget everything and dance to your heart’s content. However, Dhonveli beach resort surprises do not end here.
You can also enjoy several water sports like kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, wake-boarding, paragliding, catamaran sailing, banana boat riding and land sports like beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis, carom, tennis and badminton.
Fishing in Dhonveli beach is very famous for you can travel in the Dhonis and sail for night fishing. As you relax on the decks you can either catch fishes like red snapper, barracuda, grouper, tunas and trevally or simply lie down and look at the star-studded skies.
The yachts also take you for island hopping where you can visit several fishing villages and know details about the life of the fishermen.
