Accommodations
Le Touessrok, Trou d’Eau Douce, offers 203 air-conditioned guestrooms and villas located on three floors, all of which face the Indian Ocean. The island-style decor is bright and contemporary, with dark wood furnishings and tiled floors. Rooms extend to spacious balconies or terraces, and offer a 24-hour personalised butler service. Amenities include wireless Internet access, satellite television, DVD players, CD players, minibars, and safes. Bathrooms come with hair dryers, makeup mirrors, and complimentary toiletries.
Restaurants & Bars
Guests dining at Le Touessrok have an unprecedented choice of cuisines and locations.
Three-Nine-Eight - The main dining room is on the three different levels; with cuisines of nine countries presented in a ‘culinary theatre’ by eight show kitchens. These include a continental rotisserie and grill, contemporary Asian and Italian corners, an extensive salad bar, a centrally located patisserie section and bakery.
Barlen’s - With wooden floors, thatched roofs and its contemporary Asian-inspired interior, this unique beachside restaurant and bar pampers guests who dine on the shoreline of Trou d’Eau Douce Bay. Choose from sushi, Western char-grills, Japanese grills and salads. Serving lunch and dinner.
Safran - This enchanting restaurant, with it’s modern interpretation of classic Indian cuisine, devised by Vineet Bhatia. It applies continental methods of preparation to a range of timeless Indian recipes. The open kitchen’s focal point is the tandoori ovens producing a tasty variety of Indian bread, mouth-watering appetisers and main courses.
Sega Bar - Situated in the middle of the main pool, light refreshments, tropical cocktails and a wide variety of whiskies are served.
Beach Service - Daily from 7.30am to sundown, light snacks and refreshing beverages are served to you on the beach.
Paul et Virginie & Sands Bar - Situated on Ile aux Cerfs, Paul et Virginie specialises in grills, fresh seafood, pizzas and a variety of Mauritian dishes. Open from 12am to 3pm. Also available to cater for up to 300 guests on special occasions such as weddings or evenings for groups and incentives.
Crusoe’s Restaurant & Robinson’s Bar - Situated on Ilot Mangenie, Crusoe’s is open for lunch from 12am to 3pm offering fresh fish, salad bar and pizza. Every Sunday, Robinson’s features a lavish brunch with its signature stir-fry kiosk, spit-roasted leg of lamb or free-range chicken, a lagoon seafood barbecue, salad bar and dessert counter. Robinson’s Bar is open from 10am to 4pm.
Activities
Guests can enjoy games of tennis, volleyball, and football, embark on deer stalking and cycling excursions, and try their hand at a variety of complimentary watersports, including canoeing, sailing, snorkelling, and water-skiing. Children between 2 and 11 can take part in the T-Club’s daily activity programme.
