Legends, a new four star luxe hotel, lies in the centre of the fishing village of Grand Gaube, not far from Grand Bay, in the north-eastern corner of Mauritius.This beautiful bay, which stretches as far as the distant horizon, is an invigorating setting for both mind and body.The hotel's concept is based on the principles of Feng Shui,an ancient philosophy with its roots in China, enabling guests to experience the art of living in harmony with the environment. Legends is where the five elements are: water, wood, fire, earth and metal. Their corresponding colours are in harmonious balance, a feast of colour and shape, of sound, of scent and taste for the 5 senses.Around a heavenly little cove, Legends, a luxury 4 star, was created with a vision towards a new dimension. Accommodations

All rooms have a balcony or a terrace with a sea view and have Air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Restaurants and Bars

Every morning, the Ginko restaurant (seating 250) will serve a full buffet breakfast. In the evenings there will be a daily rotation between cultural buffets, table d'hote and gala dinners. La Bastide is our beach bar and grill occupying pride of place for those who enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, with a hint of the tropics at lunchtime.The Karma House is The hotels prestige dining room specialising in an "East meets West" cuisine each evening. This split level restaurant has an open kitchen, a walk in-wine cellar and an outdoor terrace. Finally the Abalone which is a seafood restaurant which is characterized by the freshness of its products. The Spirit Bar and Lounge has an elegant and refined atmosphere conducive to the enjoyment of a quiet drink, before or after supper. One is reminded of the plush comfort of an English club, with a choice of Havana cigars, a magnificent library and board games. "Lounge" music flowing through the 'Champagne/Caviar' corner will remain a wonderful souvenir. We also have some other bars and the 'Ballroom' in which to enjoy yourself.

We have a number of Free of charge watersports including Windsurfing, pedaloes, kayak, minisail, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and water skiing. We also offer Power-boat tours, scuba diving (P.A.D.I.), big game fishing and parascending at a charge. Free of charge Gym, sauna, beach volley, table tennis, bocci ball, darts, floodlit tennis courts and mini-golf.For a fee -Massage parlour, mountain bikes, pool tables and electronic games. A concept based on a combination of Thalasso and Spa, The Source is the core of well-being and serenity. For those who feel the need to relax body and mind, the complex offers 3 jacuzzis, a salt water swimming pool, a high-tech gym, a sauna and a hammam, a hydrotherapy room, 5 massaging rooms, 2 beauty treatment rooms and a hairdressing saloon.
