Legends, lies in the centre of the fishing village of Grand Gaube, not far from Grand Bay, in the north-eastern corner of Mauritius.This beautiful bay, which stretches far into the distant horizon, is an invigorating setting for both mind and body.The hotel's concept is based on the principles of Feng Shui, enabling guests to experience the art of living in harmony with the environment. Legends is where the five elements are - water, wood, fire, earth and metal.

198 rooms, suites and villas are housed within Legends and include -
126 Superior Room (48sqm) - The main element here is Metal, symbolising force. The wooden furniture combined with the ironwork and the sandy
and ochre tones convey a feeling of warmth and elegance to the room.
46 Deluxe Room (58sqm ) - The main element is Water, symbolising purity. Pure outlines, blue colours and a forms remind of the ripple of a wave, conveying a feeling of purity and well-being.
23 Junior Suites (78sqm) - The Junior Suites are spacious and luxuriously decorated in subtle shades of sand and ochre, blending perfectly with the main
element, which is wood. There is an ottoman at the foot of the super-king size double beds and a large, comfortable sitting area and a private terrace or balcony. Each Junior Suite has a small dressing room and spacious bathroom, with a walk-in shower, two washbasins, a whirl bath and a separate toilet.
2 Senior Suites (98sqm) – The main element is earth and fire and each villa has its own private garden, looking out towards the lagoon. The suite Ming and the suite Tang almost glow with warm red and orange hues. From the sitting area, two steps lead up to the magnificent double bed. Each of the villas has its own whirl bath and a very spacious bathroom.

Ginkgo - With a view facing the sea and the pool, the main restaurant offers a large buffet for an amazing breakfast. Dining specialites include table d’ hote, gala dinners and themed buffets offering Mauritian, Asian or Mediterranean buffets cuisines. Lovers have the option to dine by the poolside, cut away from the world… to share a moment of romantic bliss.
La Bastide - This is Legends’ beach restaurant. Overlooking the sea, this restaurant offers stunning views of the north isles. The restaurant offers a menu that is reminiscent of the tropics together with some Mediterranean influences. Guests will find a variety of grilled food that can be enjoyed under large parasols.
Karma House – The hotel’s gastronomic restaurant, overlooks the hotel’s main pool and offers a spectacular view of the lagoon -perfect for a special evening. The open-styled kitchen and wood terrace give the restaurant a feeling of space and subtle refinement.  Open evenings for dinner.
Abalone - For those who love seafood, Abalone is like heaven on earth, with produce straight from the sea brought daily to the hotel. In the evenings, seafood and pearly shellfish alternate with scarlet red crayfish twice a week. Abalone is also open for lunch, when its specialities include hearty salads and local, Mauritian dishes. A romantic table, by the sea is reserved for honeymoon couples. This is a Naïade ‘must’ for honeymooners.
Grand Bleu - Grand Bleu is Legends’ pool bar, with comfortable setting, surrounded by tables and chairs for meals. Light lunches come in all shapes and sizes, from club sandwiches to snacks, traditional Chinese tea service and dim sum. Home-made pancakes are served between 4pm and 6pm each afternoon. The Bar also serves a wide selection of local and international beers, wines and spirits.
Spirit Lounge & Bar - Enjoy memorable moments in the elegant and refined Spirit Lounge, ideal for a quiet drink, before or after dinner. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the plush comfort of an English club, with a choice of Havana cigars.
Banyan Pool, Grill & Bar - The Banyan Bar is a laid-back place, under some of the oldest banyan trees on the island, beside its own pool, with seating at the bBar itself or under parasols on the lawns. The bBar’s selection includes fresh fruit juices, beers and tropical cocktails. At lunchtime, fish, seafood and meat grills are cooked in front of you and there is also a selection of salad dishes.

Beach Service - Beach services are proposed by a caring and charming staff. Fresh fruits, cocktails and refreshing drinks are offered all day long to the guest under his sun shade. The staff even takes care of the guests’ glasses and refreshing towels are offered. Room Service, including a special menu and a range of drinks, is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Private Dining can be arranged, from romantic celebration for couple to private dinner party for families and friends. Whether it is a quiet dinner on the beach, or a special dinner in front of the swimming pool, there is a special offer available to satisfy every wish.

The hotel has three fresh-water swimming pools. The main pool, in the centre of the hotel, and close to the main restaurant and Le Grand Bleu, overlooks the breathtaking bay.
The second pool is in a quiet spot right at the very edge of the hotel, in front of the Banyan Pool, Bar & Grill and the third one is next to La Bastide. Water Sports include complimentary windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, aqua gym and waterskiing. Speedboat rides, scuba diving (PADI) and big game fishing are also available for a fee, payable locally.
Land-based Activities incluide complimentary use of the gym, beach volley, table tennis, bocci ball, 4 tennis courts and a driving range, which is also suitable for
those who want to learn how to play golf. Legends also offers Tai Chi and Yoga classes. Mountain bikes, pool tables, golf balls and electronic games are available for a charge, payable locally. Two golf courses are available nearby.
Legends has the only private cinema of Mauritius: cartoons for children, classics and ‘blockbusters’ for the adults. It has been designed in the local architecture and built as an amphitheatre. Children have access to the cinema as from 7.30 p.m, during their parents’ evening meal and adults are welcome as from 9.30 p.m.
Guests can also relax at the hotel's spa - "Zen". Legends’ spa works in partnership with the prestigious brand, ANNE SEMONIN, and is the very centre for well-being.
This oriental retreat has 1 double treatment suite with private spa garden and hot tub, 2 spa treatment rooms with private shower, 3 single treatment rooms, 1 double outdoors treatment suite, 2 hydrotherapy suites (1 with Vichy shower and 1 with hydrotheraphy tub), 1 Paul Mitchell hairdressing salon. Additionally there are 2 whirlpool baths, a salt-water pool, hammam, sauna, an ultra modern gym.
Kids Club (open 9am–10pm) - Qualified hostesses entertain youngsters from 3 to 11 years old. For children under 3, a babysitting service is also available on request, for a fee. Children’s lunch is served between 12.30pm and 1.30pm in the main restaurant or in the Mini-club depending on the day. The children have dinner in the main restaurant between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. The club for teenagers (above 12 yrs old) arranges days of fun-packed activities, including a number of optional excursions outside the hotel and operates from 9am to 11pm.
