Description / Location

All guests should note that hotel services, as with many services outside the hotel, should be paid for using foreign exchange currency. Owing to government regulations, local currency will not be accepted. After a refreshing dip in the swimming pool guests can take a stroll in the hotel’s lush gardens featuring exotic flowers and trees including frangipani, hibiscus and takamaka trees. Guests can enjoy live music in the restaurant two to three times a week and at the beach restaurant tropical cocktails and light snacks are served. Staff at the 24-hour front desk are happy to organise excursions, car and bicycle rental and diving trips. Praslin is the Seychelles second largest island and contains the largest intact forest of Coco de mer plants and rare black parrots in the Vallee de Mai national park, four kilometres from the hotel. The sandy beach of the Cote D’Or stretches along the island’s northern coast and offers opportunities for snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing.

Accommodation

This two floor hotel features 28 air-conditioned guestrooms housed in villas fashioned out of environmentally-friendly mahogany wood and spread out amidst tropical trees by the water’s edge, each room with a furnished balcony facing the sea. Rooms have cool tiled floors, green and yellow fabrics and teak furnishings. Amenities include cable TV, direct-dial phones, minibars and bathrooms with tubs, showers and hairdryers.

Guests of the Acajou Hotel enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning.
Beach Restaurant - Open air restaurant set just 25 metres from the beach. Light á la carte menu of salads, sandwiches and grilled fish. Tropical cocktails mixed by the barman. Open for lunch only.
Main Restaurant - This relaxed restaurant with a mahogany and teak decor opens on to a lush garden. Creole and international dishes are served. Buffet breakfast and buffet or table d’hote dinner. Live music twice weekly.
